The guy is a liability and mistaken waiting to happen.
Constantly gets caught out and found in no man’s land.
Weakest link in our starting 11

wtf another left backwe have Kiwior, and Saka can play there too

Brilliant, play all your CBs at the same time and risk an injury crises!
----------------------------------------------------------------------
aye -playing 11 players at a time risks an injury crisis -we should maybe only play 9 or 10

Zinny will never be a good defender and thats not why he plays. He is excellent in midfield to help Rice and he also creates goals of the season like Odegaards.

Exactly... a lot of people seem to struggle to figure out the obvious reason he plays
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I second this. With all his flaws Zinny has in his game his strengths overweight his flaws.

Everyone knows what he’s good for, the goal yesterday wasn’t bad defending though, it was another terrible lapse in concentration. He’s had way too many of those this season for one of our supposed leaders and ‘winners’ in the squad

Guess the same was with Xhaka and why people didnt like him at Arsenal.

Zinchenko was defensively very poor yesterday, but the reality is that we need his creativity on the left to break teams down, our second goal is all about him - it’s frustrating defensively but overall we are a better team with him in it - against Brentford in my opinion he was MOTM.🤷🏻♂️

Apparently they say he wasn't happy with his performance after the final whistle, hopefully he'll sort that out

I was a big critic of zinchenko last season, but I have to say he's actually improved a lot. Tracks his runners better, wins more duels too. Tomiyasu threatening his position forced him to improve.
His issue now is his concentration levels dipping. He lapsed Vs Brentford last week, but in fairness he recovered well to block the shot.
He lapsed at least 3 times Vs Wolves on Saturday. Raya bailed him out the first time. I don't know if he just panics in certain situations or just doesn't know what to do.

I think defensively he's actually underrated but the errors or lapses in concentration are an issue. Just think of the Brentford game where he made the mistake in the first place but then defended pretty well to prevent a goal. He's going to get caught out positionally every now and then because of the job he's asked to do especially in transitions if we lose the ball because of a mistake by someone else.
He's not a great defender but he's a lot better than what many give him credit for. It is a problem though but Arteta is aware and if he has a fit Tomi and White for the tougher games then they will likely start at full back more often than not.

Tomi is not adept in midfield, so why would you play him instead of Zinny when we play Rice as the holding player?

If that's a question for me, I didn't say that I would. I just think it's what Arteta's preference is at the moment especially with the form that Tomi is in. Personally I don't mind who starts, both are good enough to start any game for us and there will be plenty of minutes to share, even more so with Timber out.
