Arsenal 2 Wolves 1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l-LLUL-M6TE

We should have been 5-0 ahead before Wolves scored. It wasn't a 2-1 game. Fantastic start, superb from Saka and Odegaard. Poor from Zinchenko which turned an easy stroll into an anxious finish. Eddie and Trossard should have scored

But the 3 points is what matters at the end of the day.
4 Points clear until tomorrow

You should've actually lost 3-0 by default for using an illegal 4th substitution window

In spite of terrible lack of manager/coaching intelligence on the sidelines, Arsenal pick up another WIN. This should never have been a "nail-biter"! Was the team told to slow walk the game with 30 minutes to go, or did the sideline experts(?) take a nap until Wolves scored? Most people who understand the game (macaroni not included) know that a 2-0 lead is a very deceptive/delicate lead which can cause the team that is winning to become sloppy defensively, which can lead to panic, as we saw today in the last 10 minutes.

Was nice to see brilliant attacking play after a lot of pragmatic football, don't think many oppositions could live with the pass and move football, particularly with Odegaarde looking back to his best among others.

Obviously a bit hairy in the end due to our own sloppiness in defence but the performance was great overall.

We didn't take our chances,

I'm not sure what you mean by "In spite of terrible lack of manager/coaching intelligence on the sidelines, Arsenal pick up another WIN. "

The reason why a 2-0 lead is deceptive is precisely because players think the game is won without it being completely sealed.

Arteta's only fault is not drumming into his players that the magic number is 4-0 before taking their foot off the gas. It's good to control the game, but mistakes happen, and in the Premier League they are almost always punished.

But you can somewhat excuse it because of the frequency of the upcoming games. The game is only 3 days away.

Vlady...you obviously did not watch the final 5 minutes of defensive scrambling in the Arsenal penalty box.

When you don't have a coherent comment to make why waste your time????

City probably wished they had scrambled a bit more today and secured a win.

Very well stated! But I don't think Vlady would get it!
