We all know he's guaranteed to start the next match again because our genius manager essentially said recently that Rashford will not be dropped no matter what.

Funny how he has an ego against big name accomplished stars in dressing room but he becomes a coward with Rashford and Bruno ... Two absolutely losers!

I remember we used to criticise Ole for overplay him as he always ran his socks off for the team

If Rashford's game is off then who's is on?

It seems to me that United fans just have this merry go round of criticising players. Come back next month and it will all be about Martial, Bruno, McT, Onana or any other.

So many great players or potential great players have flopped badly at United. There's something off at United and it's been like that for a long time.

The problem for us is playing 4-2-3-1. It is as simple as that, and it is self inflicted because we have to play Bruno.

What I feel we need is a proper DM and left and right sided midfielders.

It saddens me watching McT starting regularly in a two man midfield. You can’t even begin to control games with someone who lacks the basic midfield skill sets.

It is our recruitment process. We have people doing it who have no legitimate right to do so.

An example being Bruno who was bought to specifically play in the 4-2-3-1 system yet we have never sorted out the right 2 to play behind him.

I think I wrote on here a while back that we may see one or more of our 'favourites' sold before we can become s good team again. Perhaps we're nearing that stage now (like LFC did with Coutinho).

At present though we have to go with what we have. What we really do need to do is get two midfielders shielding the back four (one can be box to box) and players out wide that work hard in and out of possession I can excuse bad performances from individuals but, if players do play badly they should at least make it difficult for the opposition to play well.

Last night it seemed for long periods that Newcastle had an extra man. When we did put some intensity into it we looked like we could do something though.

It's a very frustrating watch at the moment.

I'm not ETH out, and there could well be a plan there, but when somebody suggested Big Sam last night I couldn't help but think that, at present, he could set up who we have available in much better fashion. Make us hard to beat and a threat.

I think the issue he has is that the olan relies so much on a few players and when they're not available it goes out of the window and the players just look confused and lack some belief in the back up plan.

He quite simply has to shore up the midfield though. It's far too open and would only work, IMO, if our front three worked really hard. As a unit we're getting a lot wrong at present.
