That is absolutely dreadful West Indies will see that off easily

Poor stuff. Windies bowling much improved from the last much. They should chase this easily.

Not sure what Curran brings...

Yeah Curran has been awful since the t20 world cup. Good catch from him there, though.

Did well to take that as deep as we did. Fair play to the Windies.

A decent effort from the bowlers but the batters just hadn't got enough runs.

Think we’ll have a Malan and Stokes shaped hole in the batting line up this summer.

Shockingly poor batting one day after smashing it silly

Our obsession with all rounders and having 8 bowling options is doing my head in.
Only having 5 recognised batters just isn't enough in this format. Drop one of Mo or Curran for a batsman and we probably post 150+ yesterday.

I get they want to experiment a bit with different bowlers given the issues in that department. But it can’t be helpful when we need to establish a strong batting line up, which is where our strength lies.
I think we really should be trying to get a top six of Salt, Buttler, Malan, Bairstow, Brook and Livingstone established and comfortable with their roles. Then work the bowling around that.
