In recent weeks one of biggest concerns has been the lack of urgency and spirit that the Nottingham Forest players have shown during matches.
As most fans would know football is not a matter of life and death it's more important than that.
So I have always been bemused that instead of demonstrating intensity and pressure some of players are laughing and joking whilst we are losing.
However one of the biggest concerns has been the cba attitude of some of the players.
However this story has just been reported by John Percy on Twitter. Here's a Daily Fail link

Apparently Worral and McKenna training separately from the senior squad. Speculation has it that it relates to contract issues and possibly difference of opinion between them and management.
Some of posters on Twitter have speculated that Cooper might have losted the dressing room because he hasn't stood up for his club captain.
Pure speculation l know but it would explain some of recent lacklustre performances.
Has Cooper lost the dressing room ?

I am reluctant to put all the recent defeats under the same label as lacklustre
West Ham and Brighton move good teams who we pushed hard for a result and the game decided by individual errors - not great but no sign of losing a dressing room
I said on the Everton thread that I feel they are a tough test, they just beat Newcastle 3-0 that supports this, they horrible to play against and we did struggle but stayed in the game well enough to say they tried
Obviously Fulham was a nightmare of epic proportions and Cooper has to lift the group for Wolves, how they react will tell us a lot more than the media ever will

Losing the dressing room over a contract-related spat with the captain would imply a degree of loyalty on behalf of the players towards their captain that seems somewhat unlikely given how little the vast majority of them have been at the club.

I wanted to wait til after the Wolves game, before answering the question.
Before the game i was unsure, having watched today’s game I’d say not. Every player played their part today, no slackers, no poor attitudes, 100% effort, all of which adds to something positive to build on.
I think Coops will survive at least another week, then two very difficult home games to come. Who’d be a manager ??
