Our last match was against a side that had just won 5-0, the next one is against one that has just been stuffed 5-0, think it it'll be a cake walk because we won the former, think again.

These games have become a little bit spicy since a certain academy graduate of our, who's name coincidentally rhymes with gobsh!te, navigated up the Trent to Nottingham. Which I think should be good for us and hopefully will get us going after the pretty turgid win against Burnley on Tuesday. Forest will be fighting for their managers future amid rumours that he is running out of chances to turn his team's form around after a rum of four defeats, all a bit crazy considering the job Cooper has done and the fact that relegation looks a fairly unlikely prospect as things stand. But such is the way of the modern game.

Wolves shave confirmed that Jonny will continue to be unavailable for first team selection until at least the end of the January window but will return to training albeit with the under 21s. A sad end to a Wolves career that started so brilliantly. Ait Nouri has returned to training but isnt ready for selection yet, Neto is still a week or so away from match fitness so misses out again. No news on Hugo Bueno who looked in some discomfort coming off on Tuesday, so from a healthy stable three left/wing backs options for selection its back to 2016 & Matt Doherty at left back. Jose Sa is 100% and will be back in the squad.

Forest are without Awoniyi which has to be good news for us, and there's a question mark over Willy Boly's fitness, as there was for most of his last two years with us!

An important one for both sides, I suspect Forest may come out of the traps hungrier but we'll nick it in the end, Goldi's prediction is a home win by two goals to one.

With regard to Jonny’s training ground incident, he aimed an elbow at Chirewa, was then pulled to one side by one of the coaches, who Jonny then spat at. He was then sent to the dressing room where he smashed a television and damaged a table

He was then sent home and told he wouldn’t be involved with the first team until the end of January at the earliest. They will look to offload him to another club during January

I would normally recommend throwing in an “he allegedly…..” just out of an abundance of caution

Steve Madeley in the Athletic is reporting this as fact, I think DJ will be well down the list of people to be sued.

Have to conclude that this was born of frustration at a lack of playing time but you wonder what his attitude around the club generally has been like recently and if that has contributed to his lack of appearances? Only speculating but it was telling that he didn't get brought on at Fulham when RAN got injured.

I do think that this is an accumulation of Jonny feeling he hasn’t been given the opportunities to re-establish himself in the squad. At times he has seen Semedo, Ait Nouri, Bueno, Toti and now Doherty all being selected ahead of him in the full back/wing back positions. Although he hasn’t performed well enough since his injuries to earn many chances. But he has certainly burned his bridges now

Lopetegui stayed in the uk after leaving Wolves in the hope of landing another Premier League job and he’s ie being linked with Forest, Palace and Man Utd

He won’t last 5 minutes at United.
Nor the other two.

Pedro Neto won’t travel to West Ham but the club hope he will be available for the Xmas eve game against Chelsea

Ait Nouri should be available for the West Ham game

Molineux has evidently been selected as the host venue for the Football Association’s 2023/24 FA Women’s Continental Tyres League Cup final next year.
