i'd say the opposite.

its a lot of old men trying to pretned they are children still in the 2000s hammering on at each other getting a one up victory.

I've RARELY seen any article have any serious football discussion on this site and any attempt almost instantly becomes the same childishness.

There should be balance, but this site would die if everything was just straight up analysis and debate - people would gravitate towards club forums.

The old 606 had just as much, if not more childish banter. What makes this place unique is that you can legitimately wind up/console/debate with opposition fans. It’s a bit like Grand Theft Auto - Admin gives us the tools to be good/evil a wum or serious, etc - it’s up to us how we choose to use those tools on any given day/hour/minute.
