Id be amazed if Moyes Joined the Villa to be honest. Not sure we would have gone to all the trouble to get Martinez if we were seriously intrested in Moyes. And Im pretty certain Everton would be in for Mcleish either. Not happening !!

I think its a smokescreen til we get hughes to be honest. Hope we do, he would be a legend personally!!!

SAF is enjoying himself! He's not retiring any time soon; he'll go another two or three years at least. He's got a bit of rebuilding to do, and he won't go until that's taking root. And in the meantime he's looking at Barcelona and thinking about how to get up there. When he hands over it'll be to someone who can take MU to that level. It won't be Moyes.

Moyes knows that. Depends on how he views the alternatives. Would he regard Villa as a place to challenge for higher things than Everton? It probably is. But would he see it like that. Don't know...

If you look at the current odds with skybet Moyes is joint favourite with Mcleish. Maybe there is something in this? Mcleish is also 5/2 favourite to be the next Everton manager. However we have had Hughes/Moyes/McLeish/Martinez/Ancelotti/Benitez/McClaren/Coyle as favourites at some point in the past 10 days, so i'm not hopeful. But fingers crossed!

mcleish says he's staying in Birmingham so he won't be going to Everton.

Why would Moyes leave Everton for Villa? He's already said he's not interested.

Not going to happen, the stories are made up. LOL at the Villa fans lumping on him, causing the odds to tumble & thus making a story where there simply isn't one.

Jusat out of interest, anyone know of any bookies offering odds on McLeish NOT becoming Villa manager- anyone in this city knows its a non-starter and I'd imagine the odds would be at least evens - a quick way to double your money lads.
