Dewsbury hall playing well tonight

Very strong start to the second half and nearly blew them away. Defensively fragile again though with too many gaps in midfield. Thankfully Birmingham haven’t punished us too much.

We look deadly on the counter though and could have had a couple more had passed been a bit more accurate, linesman’s flag etc.

Tighter and tenser than it needed to be but we got the result again which is all that matters. Was a bit too open first half but then we blew them away at the start of the second half just weren’t clinical enough at key moments and let them back in with a sloppy goal. Thankfully didn’t punish us and we take the points. Top top top of the league and extend the gap to third. Onwards!!!

Mavididi and Fatawu excellent in the main but we really need to close the gaps in midfield when we lose the ball and deal with balls bouncing around in the box more effectively.

But we win and that’s what matters.

Great win but made it so difficult for ourselves with poor finishing.
Daka poor again, always makes wrong decision.

We were good, but very wasteful. Should have been a lot more comfortable than it was.13 points clear of of Leeds will do very nicely.
