Low block sides.

You got to hand it to Utd, borrowed ol maureens bus and parked that good and proper, these mid table sides, Utd and the Stokes etc of this world have no option but to deploy this tactic, pullis would be a proud man looking at ol Ten and seeing how he applied the tactic right from Tony's own handbook...bravo

United's gung-ho attacking performance at Anfield reminded me of Liverpool's barnstorming FA Cup Final win over Arsenal in 2001.

This makes it seem like Liverpool changed their game for that final. Sit in tight at the back and counter using the pace of the attack, particularly Owen to run onto through balls in heaps of space. It was a successful season too, with them picking up both domestic trophies and the UEFA Cup, finishing third in the league.

Not remotely similar to United's current situation.
