You would have to be very lucky not to pick up injuries, so the idea of keeping 16 players fit seems a bit far fetched - before you even consider some of those named!!
We were short in defence even before the Timber injury, so think we need cover there.
Raya, Zinchenko, White - too many liabilities in the team imo.

Part of the play for the wide players is to get crosses/cut backs into the box and we just don't have that natural goal scorer/poacher who are effevtive at making runs into the box.

I guess when I say fit, I mean no long term injuries. Like if Rice picks up a 3 week knock, Partey must be fit and in form. Or if Martinelli is out for 2 weeks, Trossard is ready etc. What we can't have happening is Rice and Partey out at the same time...or Jesus and Trossard. Of one of Gabriel and Saliba is out for a significant time, we are done for.

This thread is kind of silly though. Toney's done very well for Brentford but then so did Raya.. and he's not even available to play till the end of January. After 8 months out you have to think he'll take a few weeks training then a few more weeks to get match sharp.

I hope you blow £70m on him. Guirassy is available for 15m and is in great form right now. I know who I'd rather sign

The guy with the 1 in 2 strike rate in the prem presumably rather than the 27 year old who has finally had a good start to a season.

Guirassy is this years Onana by the look of it. Clearly not a particularly good player but getting hyped regardless.

Dont bet on Ivan Toney

They'd both be a gamble tbf.
