First I hope everyone has had a great Christmas Day. Now wake up it's boxing day and matchday!! Bolton won the first of 4 games in 10 days on Saturday and moved up from 6th to 3rd. Today it's Lincoln and an away day at LNER Stadium. Lincoln away has been a mixed bag since 1993. A long gap lost 5-1 in 2020, won 1-0 in 2021 and a 1-1 draw during last Christmas fixtures which was dapo Afolayan's last game for Bolton. Lincoln 9th but have only 1 point out of 3 and are one of the mid table sides adrift of the play offs. Team news. Only Johnston and Nlundulu definitely out. Jones and Mendes Gomes are still available and Santos returns after suspension. Going to be rotation as evatt has a plan to cover the Christmas games. Kick off 3pm.

Can you hear the cogs turning as IE works on his next rotation? he's making a lot of noise, trying all the combinations he can think of.
I wonder how long he ponders on naming a sub keeper. Not long I bet, it'll be the easiest of all his decisions.

Tomorrow night will be another test against a defensive set-up, can we get around the back of them and score some goals?
If the lads have their scoring boots on, we will be OK. If we can't beat them, it's a poor do.

When Jones leaves the squad it's down to 18 so will have to put the keeper on the bench. If carty and Matheson are to go out on loan then will need reinforcements.
