Ok, so I don’t think anyone’s going to dispute it was a belief-sapping performance today. However, we’re still in with a chance of autos (slim chance, accepted) and a good chance of the play-offs.
Still plenty to be positive about.

So a draw between Ipswich and Leicester leaves things more or less as they were about 10 games ago except we've 10 games less to play but 8 points off 3rd with 22 games to go. What were we ahead of Shef Utd with 20 games to go under Bielsa in his first season with us?

I’ve just looked it up and on Christmas Day 2019 we were 8 points in front of Sheff Utd and on the last day they were 6 points above us! Problem is we have 2 teams to worry about - Ipswich and Southampton.

Problem is, Maidin, we need teams to worry about us. I don’t think they do.

But it's not an impossibility so we need to just keep going and see if we can get a decent run going which Farke has always done after Christmas with Norwich in the championship.

Morning all🌞.
So, having benefitted from a good night’s sleep, I’m still of the view that a place in the play-offs would be a good achievement this season. I still think we’d win them and that’s not to say I’ve given up on autos but I think we’d need to strengthen the squad in January to have a real go at them. Let’s see what happens.

Considering the situation Farke came into, I think he has done a tremendous job so far.
I hope the fans stay behind the team because we still have a good chance of promotion, either autos or play offs.
I don't get the doom and gloom because we lost one away match with 10 men.
Wemust stay positive.

Yep, he's done really well, we're always going to have some blips along the way.

The difference now is we have three teams to chase instead of two. And two of them are on a very good run, (Leicester and Southampton). And Ipswich can afford a little hickup, but we can't to make top two. And looking at how we struggle with these teams that could make the play offs, are we capable of going to Wembley and going up against teams that know how to beat us ?. A lot of thought for all concerned come January.

I think play offs looks like the best we can hope for since we are so inconsistent. That being said it is a massive concern that we cannot seem to play 2 good games in succession. To win the play offs requires 3 good performances in a row (2 of which will be away from ER)

Meslier’s muckied his ticket - at least with me. His impetuous action was the turning point in a game in which we were favourites to take all three points. Even more concerning is the fact we don’t have a decent back-up keeper.
