Never want to see Leeds lose but can’t help but think that a couple of these last defeats are timely given the January transfer windows.
Do the owners want promotion? Let them prove it this January. Clearly Farke feels that his first 11 should be the only 11 playing (given he never rotates and his subs are too little too late in most games).
The owners were slow as F in the summer which resulted in us giving the rest a head start. Time for them to show us their pockets and take us over the line.
Timely defeats??

Did the 49ers have full control of the club at the start of the season, if I'm not mistaken the season had already started before they took full control, and with nobody knowing who was going in such a short time, how many players can be on the books before you can bring new in?..
We had to get shut before we could bring in, and that might be a problem in January, to bring in we'll have to get rid, but there are one or two loan players rumored coming back, the club might be looking for others, but that could change some of their dealings!..

Yes, let’s have some names!

So, do absolutely nothing then?
Meanwhile, anyone want to plunk money down on
whether or not Leicester, Ipswich, Southampton,
WBA, Sunderland...anyone with half a chance...
will take this same white flag, lying face down
approach to January's window?
Every other team with a shot at promotion,
is going to be active and adding players in January.
But we should do nothing because of past failures?
Just sit back and rely on our starting XI who already
look like they need a week or two of rest. Yeah, let's do
nothing at all.
Because we already have the greatest 100 pt/100 goal
Championship squad ever assembled. So good
that 6-8 of those players can't be shifted due to them
being paid more than they're worth? In Bamford's
case a King's ransom for fck all return.
Just a sentimental trip down memory lane every now
and again and a new hairdo. People are right,
this isn't Champ manager.
Thank God. And if the 49ers/Farke are truly set on
getting promotion, they better do all they can to bring
in players who can improve what we have as a squad.
Names? We have actual pros in that department at
the club who do this for a living. Who's job it is to
identify and sign them. Paid well to keep the club up
with or ahead of our rivals for promotion. Again,
thank God it isn't a bunch of fans playing Champ
manager, lying face down insisting we can't do nowt.
We're 4th and way off autos.
We need to do something in January. Madness not to.

Batty the manager already said more than once, he’s happy with squad apart from left back.
Look at last January, Mckennie and Rutter, absolutely garbage.
This season both playing really well 🤷🏻♂️
Simply because it is so hard for players too come in January and hit straight off.
Why you think the top clubs, rarely do it, but the basket case clubs, Everton, skum and chelsea do it, and it never works.
Yeah am sure the club are looking at it, but highly likely not to do much, unless something great comes up, which is rare.
The reasons why.
No preseason, for player to get used to systems, tactics, formations etc.
Clubs dont want to sell regulars
Players who arent regulars, arent match fit.
clubs wont let players go without bringing in some else, causing a chain.
Player, might have to move, sort family out etc etc. All takes time effort.
Loan players who only coming for 20 games, under motivated.
Its an absolute mindfield, and one where clubs fail.
The side and squad is good enough, just need to the manager to manage it better

Batty, it has been brought up a lot of times that because of the farce at the start of the season nobody knows what could have been, if it hadn't have been for some dumbass deals that fecked everything up we might have had a complete different team now!..
Players going out went a little late, meaning they were registered as being part of our team, so team at the time at full strength meant whoever the 49ers were looking at couldn't come in!..
It should be mentioned that in the bit of time they had they did a decent job of getting some decent players in, but with players leaving and the club getting nothing for them, how much will that have set us back?..
People saying Farke says nothing will happen in January, most clubs say nothing will happen in January, and the people in charge now I don't think are as dumb as the crap that followed Ridsdale!..

Agree with you on this one Batty for most of the reasons stated.
Another left back option could make a world of difference in this window and potentially strengthen us in both full back positions.
Two really smart targeted acquisitions in the right areas would really help. Nobody said finding these players is easy but it can be done and our rivals will absolutely be looking to strengthen. It is not some kind of mystical science. There are players out there who can improve these squad. I don't know who they are but we pay people to do this work and based on the work they did in the summer they did it well.

I know I am an idiot, but why does the club need to get rid of some players? Surely, if the club carried extra players till the end of the season to improve the chance of promotion it might be a good idea. Normally, it takes time for a player to settle in, Kiltch and Rutter being cases in point. Does anyone remember a player who hit the ground running, well Cantona and Yeboah, but they were not recruited in the normal way. They both had fallen out with their clubs. Leeds were just lucky to sign them.

"Gruev - good but for some reason not getting much time"
Is there some other Gruev playing that I've missed?

Yeboah didn't fall out with his club, Leeds made an offer they didn't refuse!..
He was their top scorer and the fans player of the year a couple of times, they even offered him a hell of a pay rise, but the pull of English football and what Leeds offered him took him away!..
I said at the time I couldn't believe we were getting him!..
