Man Utd stadium tour -The Aftermath

Well I have completed the Man Utd stadium and museum tour which was arranged for our visitors from South Africa.

I was forced into this aginst my will
I used the toilet in the museum and took a pic
posted it to my Fulham supporting mate on Whatsapp and captioned it Old Toilet.

The guide referred to Man Utd as Englands most successful club
I took a pic of Bryan Robsona England shirt.

I sat in the SAF stand

The guy giving the tour asked if everyone was a Man Utd fan.
I said I was Arsenal. There were a couple of Liverpool fans.A Bolton fan and a Villa fan.

I went into the dressing room and walked down the tunnel. The greatest ever player to walk down that tunnel is Patrick Vierra

A visit to the press room and the dugout as well

It was about an hour ending in The Megastore which was the worst bit waiting for my guests to buy a shirt and get photographs of themselves with the League Cup

But its all over now

Got five or six of you in a flap by asking why anyone would do another clubs stadium tour?!? I think that is a you problem.
____

Jesus Christ. We all agree with you. I certainly wouldnt pay to do a tour of anywhere but Old Trafford. In fact I, have never even done an official tour of Old Trafford yet. I probably never will. I'm not a tourist.

This. I've toured the really iconic stadia like the Bernabeu, Molyneux and the Nou Camp but otherwise it's only really Old Trafford that would interest me.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Fair play, they don't come much more iconic than Molineux. Floodlit games in the 50s, the creation of European football. All the greats coming to play.

I'd put The Hawthorns in that list.

I regretted not doing that as soon as I'd pressed Send

went to two matches on Bradford fire day...The hawthorns was the second...

My visitors are not really big United fans.
It was more of a tourist attraction on behalf of their relatives in South Africa who follow either United or Liverpool.
I may take an Emirates tour to compare as the United tour was quite well organised. Ill give them that

why would fans of other clubs do a United stadium tour?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

My grandad is a big Liverpool fan but he loves coming with us to Elland Rd with my lot.

Thought montleeds was a bit younger than that tbh.

I just love it, we are the club that everyone thinks about. You might love us, you might hate us, you might even be somewhere in the middle.

But deep down you love to think about United, it fulfills you, gives you a purpose. It's ok to talk about us too, because we know what you're thinking about even when you don't talk. Manchester United

So you enjoyed your first visit to a football stadium then, OP?
