Winning ugly? Did you mean winning luckily?

Luton had a goal overruled for the most marginal decision, yet it could've been given or should've been given, had 2 shots bounced off the posts, and in thend Luton had more corners, more xG, and 36 crosses into the Chelsea box, with Chelsea players running around like headless chicken.

Lucky win. Enjoy it

There is no structure to this side, and that’s on the coach. He has taken a fairly strong defence and made them chaotic, the midfield hardly exists and Palmer apart, the attack is awful.

Nobody said it would be pretty

But yes, all of the excuses, reasoning and so on ?

Agreed about the defence, but again injuries, red cards and lack of experience through the whole squad is at the root of poor structure

The structure of the side comes from the coach irrespective of the team lineup, without structure there is nothing even if your squad is fully fit. There has to be a foundation on which to build.

Yes , i agree, your not wrong.

The excuse has been Poch has not been able to mould the side, due to the inconsistency caused by the whole squads vulnerability to injury.

But as your rightly state the structure is dependent upon foundation.

Imo , the issue is the lack of experience, the lack of strength in depth , there is not enough players with the level of experience to assuredly build the squad spine.

Personally, Poch doesnt strike me as a manager who would not be fully aware of the importance of installing an appropriate structure, his past efforts at THP were acclaimed for his ability to do so?

So wtf is going on at the club ?

It starts with the owners, their inability to employ the right staff to run the footballing side, but then these are financiers whose only motivation is to make money, personally, I believe football as a game is ultimately doomed because of the money men, the greed of the players in the top flight game, it can only end in one way. It’s a shame, the game no longer belongs to normal people.

That is the direction of travel, and has been for some time.

The game, our club does not belong to us.

Look, when you are buying players at 50m a pop, + with a 50m contract to go along with it, the money has to come from somewhere.

The reality is that Cfc has a local support of 50/60 thousand, but in all likelihood a global following in the millions , the club is an advertising platform and its economy is a vehicle with which to leverage to take on debt to pay out service fees.

Cfc has been put into about 1 bln pounds worth of debt since the new ownership took over.

The Glazers did the same thing at Utd, since they took they have spent 1.7 bln on the squad, look where they are.

But the club is worth in excess of 6 lbn and fancied to reach a 10 bln valuation.

Chelsea have won the most games in the league on expected goals this season. Can you point me to articles/comments of yours where you’ve come on to say how unlucky we were?
