Luton Town v Bolton Wanderers

A break from the promotion chase and the first of 2 cup games in the space of 4 days which could make or break the hunt for the treble. First up the fa cup and premier league opponents Luton Town. The first match between the 2 clubs since January 1997 when Bolton were drawn away to Luton in the 3rd round of the fa cup. A 1-1 draw at Kenilworth road followed by a replay 4 days later at burnden park where Bolton won 6-2. Team news. Johnston and Nlundulu out likely for the season, Jones and Mendes Gomes away on international duty. Khumbeni is cup tied. It hasn't been confirmed if iredale is fit or not. Likely starting 11. Baxter. Forrester Santos Toal. Dacres-cogley Maghoma Sheehan Thomason Williams. Böðvarsson Charles. 9 subs allowed. Kick off is 2pm and not shown on telly in the UK. But you know. Kick off 2pm. A draw after 90 minutes and it's a replay at the toughsheet stadium.

Tuesday 16th according to the BBC fixture. The only Wednesday one is Everton vs Palace so there could still be room for shifting about.

I've a horrible, horrible feeling Everton vs Palace is going to be on TV again. If so I'll be hoping for some new TV shows on other channels.

Also don't be surprised if Bristol City vs West Ham or Blackpool vs Forest isn't chosen to be the televisual delight instead.

Hopefully Wigan vs Man U doesn't go to a replay.

Everton away would boost the coffers. Probably be palace v Luton.

I'd rather it be Palace.
Although that comes with the risk of coach lag returning, with all those miles on the motorway.

That's why I wanted a local team. So it will have to be Everton, hopefully

Replay date confirmed as 16th at 19:45.

Bristol City vs West Ham is the TV choice.

Are we up for the other cup tonight? If I'm going to last the distance, I best make it a double siesta day.
