Never like too many changes, but do like to give some minutes where needed.
Felt like it was being treated seriously enough though, which is something we've failed to do in the past.
We started well, but Peterborough were having their chances and lovely lay off allows Amapadu to score his first goal, just about ever!
We're having all sports of chances and assister and scorers reversed when speculative ball forwards taken out of the air and the no look shot on the turn that follows stuns the ground and all of social media.
Simply one of the best goals you will ever see and some sort of redemption, not that it was needed, for striker who takes far too much public ire from fans.
Another goal from Ampadu wraps up a great result, that could have been trickier than it was.
These matches are vitally important for us to give minutes to players but also to build momentum and give fans something to get excited about, bring some pride back and I'm really pleased for Farke in that respect after coming in for so much criticism recently.
But there is only one place to finish here, and that is our finisher, our striker who has endured a wretched time after brilliant first season back in Prem.
Post match he said wasn't low on confidence just frustrated that he wasnt starting and said he knew he would score if he started.....it serves to illustrate how 10 mins at the end of a match is just not enough.
If we can play to his strengths, he's a huge asset for us and the way he comes across in media does us nothing but credit.
His presence should make Rutter and Piroe raise their games.
Really happy for him, now let's attack this second half of the season.

It’s certainly long overdue!

“ Are you implying that Ampadu's ball to Bamford was speculative Jonty?”
No, I don’t imply anything, I think if you read it again you’ll find I said it was speculative.

A thoroughly competent and professional display. Over the moon for PN and Ampadu for his brace.
Plymouth at home. What a chance to make the last 16 and a home draw against anyone outside the Prem's top 6 gives us reason to dream of going further.
MOT.

Good draw for us, at last.
Agree on the feel good factor after this win and that goal - great for Patrick Bamford. I supported him for a long time until last season when nothing was going right for him or anybody and I guess you're right, he became a sort of lightning rod. I'm very pleased for him - two in two and one of them a goal to remember, plus he set up Ampadu's first beautifully. If he's ticking, we have some great possible permutations.
It's all looking good - in Farke I trust!

You mean this sentence "We're having all sports of chances and assister and scorers reversed when speculative ball forwards taken out of the air and the no look shot on the turn that follows stuns the ground and all of social media".
I kind of assumed that's what you meant, another battle with your I-Phone perhaps, invest in an android Jonty, so much easier.
Anyway, I kind of disagree. I think they played for it and I think there were signs earlier in the game. Watch it back, Rodon and the midfield were trying balls to Bamford over the top, they didn't have the range of passing Ampadu had on that occasion.
Whether that came from the training ground I don't know.

I'm a bit slow Jonty, you were being ironic, obviously Darren Ferguson has said it was speculative, so stupid some times, der.
