Some questions/points I have been meaning to ask/raise but keep forgetting to do it:
1. What ever happened to Ed Dawes?
2. When I started supporting DCFC circa 1954/5 standing halfway on the Pop side there was no singing or chanting as such, just general shouts of support or derision. Then maybe two years later a small group of youngish guys appeared from nowhere (it seemed) standing further back but behind me and started various songs and chants, eg about King Kevin ("he'll show you how to score") and strolling with the cream of the Baseball Ground. More followed and then it seemed there was a whole industry of chants and songs from home and away supporters until every ground had them. My question is - was this started by Derby fans or did they pick it up from elsewhere?
3. Would you want VAR in every League or would you modify it or scrap it altogether?
4. Do you agree that penalties (because of the new rules) are sometimes given far too easily? (Some hand balls are just unavoidable if the ball is blasted at you from close range and giving a penalty seems harsh in the extreme.)
5. Do you feel that a double whammy on Everton is unfair or justifiable given the detail in the profit/sustainability rules or whatever they are called? (I must say that I do find the whingeing coming from their supporters somewhat nauseating given what happened to us, Wigan etc.) Also comparing their case to Man City is just ridiculous is it not, given that MC are charged with over 100 offences which is bound to involve a much longer process?
6. Do you wonder whether the whole edifice of the Prem is under serious threat given that Forest are also at risk and that Chelsea must be at risk? Could it be that an independent regulator will bring some much needed sanity into the way clubs spend on transfers and wages? This could bring the Prem more into line with other European leagues making it less attractive to foreign players. In other words do you see a much more level and therefore competitive playing field coming out of all this? Will the powerhouses such as Man City et al become mere players along with everyone else?
Well I guess that's enough pro tem. Over to y'all.

Another, albeit new, question: has JJ actually signed yet? There have been plenty of suggestions that signing was imminent but I have seen no official confirmation.

Derby County are closing in on the signing of Charlton Athletic winger Corey Blackett-Taylor.
The 26-year-old is expected to undergo a medical with the Rams today, before completing move.

Apparently a scout was at Barnsley game watching Dervante Cole (out of contract in summer) and Moxon from Carlisle.
I'm not familiar with Lewis-Potter but as he has a double barrel name we have to be interested!
Warne was at Wolves V Brentford watching Lewis-Potter (not heard of him)

I believe Lewis-Potter was at Hull and highly regarded there before his move. Can't see him dropping down two leagues.
Another question re U21s who at times play in the Central League, eg when bouncing Notts County. Anyone know anything about this League as I don't think every U21 game is described as being within it?
