Anyone got any idea why this game is the only Championship game going on next midweek? It’s not like we have a game in hand.
Nightmare for Norwich fans and for us it means three games inside 6 days.
Fair?
Norwich next Wednesday

Really hope we get through that week in good shape. Our bad results over the holiday period could be attributed to a lot of games in a short period with not enough recovery time in between.

Given the temperatures this week i'm just glad, as a fan in the stands, the matches are next week and not this ...........

Too right ..........

my car was literally frozen shut Wednesday night had to make a journey home - was panic stricken for a second or two.. I did wonder tho, how soft are we? - I bet people in Canada or where ever think minus 5? - thats mild for our winters
----------------------------------------------------------------------
In Canada they tend to do everything underground in the winter. It’s amazing how far under they go to shop and then they can link with other malls and banks, etc.
Thry are just more beefed up than we are for our few days of really cold weather.
My mate ran a hotel in New Hampshire for a few years and he told me it got to -35c at times. You could throw a bucket of water up in the air and it came down as ice crystals.
My nuts are freezing just thinking about it 🥶

We have to put pressure on Ipswich tomorrow. They are away at Leicester on Monday and I can see a loss there. So by Weds, if we can win both home games, we could be 1 point off second. Ok we will have played a game more than both but points in the bag are what we need.
Both Norwich and Coventry winning as I type. Ones to watch for the playoffs?

I think the two best sides in the division are Leicester and Southampton and are form over Christmas meant we were destined to finish below both of them. Without a dramatic dip in form by either of those two I cannot see us catching them.
I think we are the third best side in the division and whether we finish above or below Ipswich is irrelevant. They just have to be in the play-offs with us.

Looking at the game tonight I think we are probably the best side in the division (certainly to watch) but we gave everyone a months start. It’s now a big ask to go top but second is more than achievable.
We just need to hang on in there and hope teams above us drop more points than we do.
The biggest problem we have is teams/supporters raising their game when we go to them. Whatever anyone says we are still a big scalp to many teams in this division.
