He’s much better than Ighalo, who was one of the worst players to ever play for us.

ECM managed a goal every 450 minutes in the PL. Ighalo managed one every 226 minutes.

ECM is average and one decent season in a weak Bundesliga doesn't alter that.

In the real world Hojlund's goals per minutes is better than ECM's despite only being 20.

I know he’s average, we are discussing crap strikers.

So why would you want to bring in a player that is no better than Hojlund? Makes no sense

There’s talk now that we might make a late move for Benzema. Interesting.

We don't have that many games left this season really. A possible five rounds in the Cup and our league games. We may well get away with Hojlund and Rashford as CF options for those 22 games with Martial back in April to help us win the Cup thus leaving in a blaze of glory.

Nah. He's no better. His goal return over the course of his career playing in inferior leagues is about 1% better than Hojlund's during his time at United. And he is 34 now.

This season is done. Better to just keep playing Hojlund and let him develop.

If we are going to bring another striker in during the window then Callum Wilson makes more sense to me. Who I believe we have been linked with today.
