CFC- Organic growth - Going forward!

Chelsea's approximate running cost's: 520m

Operational cost > 150m

Amortization cost > 200m

Wage bill (25squad) > 170m

These values are a ballpark figure, the may be up or down 10/15 %, but they are probably within a range which the club has to manage, using past/ historic operating values.

That is to say its unlikely that they will be less overall.

Chelsea income ball park, aprx.= 510m

Sponsorship - 150m

Matchday - 100m

TV rights- 160m

Retail/ Merch> 100m

This income estimation clearly shows that the club has the ability to bring in aprx 500m per season any operating costs over that figure will require increased income primarily from elite competition revenue and player sales revenue.

The club does seem to be maxed out, it more than likely will be able to manage these figures, but the issue is the squad still requires development to enable a better ability to compete at a higher level and attract better income streams from elite competition involvement and associated commercial activities.

I think it can be reasonably suggested that Chelsea Fcs short/ medium future progress will come from its ability to compete at a higher level on the pitch, as the new ownership have shrunk the clubs economy & exhausted all the the new ownerships investment bonus advantages with the restructuring of the club. The clubs economy is now stretched to the max to cope with the liabilities it now carries with the squad it has.

I think we have potential to grow revenues, it won't be massive amounts but ticket increases and re worked commercial deals will help bolster revenues, IA is only a short term sponsor, I expect the next one will be worth more, particular if we continue to show signs of getting our act together.

As an aside, I don't like to talk about incoming but I've felt for a while and more recent murmurs further lead me to suspect we might just get Osimhen in the summer. Of course he could be a another fleck, werner or sutton, we shall see.

Personally, my feeling is that Bohley- Clearlake should be totally on the ball with developing the finances of the club, they are money men , it is what they do.

But?

Imo they should bring in the best footballing brains that they can afford, give them a compatible remit that can position the club competitively whilst simultaneously building the club on sound financial foundations.

Leave the footballing aspect to the professionals and solely focus on the the finances.

? Is this achievable ? it sounds like common sense, but im not certain whether it is feasible to trade footballers as a commodity and build an elite level football club?
