The games are coming thick and fast, right at the time when we have AFCON and injuries to contend with.
With Nigeria into the QFs we’ll be without Aina until Bristol City, and most likely Newcastle.
Elsewhere, it’s the big showdown between Ivory Coast and Senegal. So we will have at least two players back, although they are unlikely to face Arsenal.
Transfer wise we seem nowhere close. The Hungarian third-choice goalie seemingly staying put at Liepzig, Forbs staying at Ajax and Reyna has three other clubs to choose from. Schmeichel is rumoured.
Brentford:
The Good: We went ahead again, Omo continues to improve.
The Bad: Toney…what an arrogant tool.
The Ugly: We need to be wiser. The wall was terrible, as was Turner’s positioning. We’re falling down on the basics. .
Special Mention: We need a goalkeeper!! It won’t happen before this game, but it has to at the top of the list. Ours are woeful.

Facing Arsenal is always a tough game, but with six first team starters missing, Turner in goal and a bunch of academy kids on the bench, then it’s a big ask to get any kind of result.
A 2-0 loss unfortunately.

Because we have the worst recruitment in the premier league. So impulsive and scatter gun. Don’t seem to see the bigger picture. Constantly buy players and then buy more in the same position. It’s madness! It will cost us too as Luton doing great .once we lose points I can’t see how we can finish ahead of them?

It’s also another example of how the injury time is constantly wrong. They spent at least two minutes on VAR before the 90 mins were up. Then there were substitutions in injury time. A minute while they waited to take a free kick. Should have had around 8 minutes injury time. It’s too easy for teams to totally waste the injury time!

Not really sure what game you were watching we had near total domination for almost the entire game. Frustrated with the last 20 should of got another couple of goals but as with Arteta he let's the game drift.

Not really sure what game you were watching we had near total domination for almost the entire game. Frustrated with the last 20 should of got another couple of goals but as with Arteta he let's the game drift.

To be fair you were dominating but not really making the keeper work. Our subs gave us a threat on the break. The game turned because of a mistake by the keeper (and the ref as the throw in should have been a forest free kick). You were starting to look frustrated and if it had continued for another 1o minutes we would have had a real chance to pinch a winner. The second goal, which was an awful mistake killed us.

Might be the case and when it's 0-0 anything can happen but given the way the game went in terms of play I don't think you can begrudge us the win.
