Welcome to Leeds, boyo!
Hope you help us back to the Premier League. Good interview on the LUFC website. He says he knows six of the team, should help him to settle in quickly. Also clear about Farke’s expectations and is good with them. This looks like a sensible replacement for Ayling and should free up Archie to play more in midfield. Farke clearly comfortable with Firpo and Byram at left back. Ampadu can now switch between defence and midfield as needed. I think he gives us the versatility we need for the run-in. All Wales are we!

Very happy with Roberts. Another Welsh lad.

Hopefully they can time their injury lay offs so that
when one's injured the other isn't. No worries there.

Feel the same. Good enough if we can have at least one healthy at all times.
Relieved after the exodus of right backs with Roberts. Sinisterra is the only wantaway I cared about keeping.
Now to get rid of the rest of the loaned out players so we can actually buy someone in the summer.

mont, I fully expected to hear that Roca had signed
for Betis. We need to clear out and quick.

I think the squad now has quite a good balance to it with 22/23 players so a back up player in every position.

Never seen him play, no idea. Hopefully just a solid right back and can link up with James.
Poveda, I saw nothing in him ever.

24 senior players with very little beyond this other than Klaesson. Dallas it would appear we can probably write him off this season now leaving us 23 players.
It SHOULD be enough. One side of the fence would argue that we have injury prone players - Firpo / Byram / Cooper / Shackleton are all regularly unavailable. Darlow and Struijk currently injured for weeks and James missing at least this week. The other side of the fence (the one the 49ers will sit on) is that you cannot simply buy more players to cover injury prone ones as the squad becomes too big and wage bill too high. Checking injury records before buying players was perhaps not Victors strong point.
The reality though is the decision to dismantle the senior aspects of the under 21 squad is a RISK.
IF we should get 7+ key injuries then our substitutes bench would be poor with 17-19 year old kids nowhere the first team picture having to be used. Perkins is the only one who has had first team opportunities and he was out of favour at the start of the season for training issues.

I still have hopes that Dallas will make a triumphant return for the last few games of the season and can contribute on the field to us getting promoted but maybe that is wishful thinking but you never know and looking at the squad in detail you have to say apart from missing another left footed traditional left back we have every position covered but as Kebab says the dreaded potential injury situation hangs over us ominously and I just hope lady luck can shine our way and we manage to see our the remaining games without any players getting seriously crocked.
