To be honest, if we finish 4/5th this season that’s a win for Ange, all things considered.
But the way we play, conceding way too many goals and chances to the opposition of all abilities, what is the best we can realistically achieve under Angeball?
We’ve conceded 2 or more goals in the PL 12 times already this season. That’s just not good enough. We also give away chances regularly, and lose control of games we are winning way too often. You always feel the opposition are right in the game, even if we are 2 up.
I love that we are way better to watch now, but I can’t shake this feeling that we are just a better version of Bielsas Leeds, I’m really not sure how far this style can take us in the PL
Always feels like a defeat when we concede late equaliser, but I’ve felt this for a while now

I don't think there's necessarily a ceiling for Angeball (based on this first Spurs season).
The style of play he's asking of the players is polar opposite to what's been trained into the majority of the squad for their entire time at Tottenham. The fact it's kinda working already is a good sign for you.
I don't believe in just giving managers time for the sake of it at all, just because it worked for United with Fergie doesn't erase the entire history of it mostly not working elsewhere.
It's just that when a guy has got a clear philosophy and you can see he's getting the players to do it well at times and they're on board with it then it's worth giving the manager a few seasons and the backing to see where it goes.

You had and still have to a lesser degree a squad very thin on quality and lost a genuinely world class striker in the summer.
There are definitely times to cut your losses early on a manager (like you did with Nuno) but this time around it's worth giving him a bit of time.
