Window closed

No incomings. Perfect 👌

Well done to the club for standing firm throughout window on that.
A relief. Unending cycle of seeking a supposed quick fix from the market is tiring.
Let the current existing squad settle and grow, rather than putting them in unsettling circumstances. Work with useful dedicated tools available at one's disposal this season, assess in the summer. Just what the doctor ordered. Nothing to lose, everything to gain.

I know the transfer dopamine addicts would have been suffering!

If there's one thing to take away from this, or any, transfer window, it's to make sure you don't get pulled in by the BS merchants (both professional and amateur) who rely on you as an audience to maintain their platform to mislead, misdirect and outright lie to you.

The transfer window is absolute guff and you're all being played by people who ram baseless narratives down your throats and fabricate nonsense on a daily basis in what is nothing more than a venture into self-indulgence.
One of the most disturbing aspects of the transfer window/rumours is that tons of people take speculation (predominantly revolving around "FFP / PSR", academy products, non-existent swap deals, overaged & overpriced non-starters) as gospel/fact and then use those rumours to praise or criticise (abuse) clubs/players.

Entire scam industry built off it and dominating your time, making you out as fools and mugging you for your lunch money for good measure.
It won't change (quickly) though, because the likes of Sky Sports have long since turned the transfer window into an exploitative industry with no integrity by breathlessly exaggerating anything to keep themselves relevant too. Everyone continues to feed into it.

Doesn't change the fact that Chelsea need to sell ayers by 30 June to avoid a FFP points deduction next season

Completely agree, I was pleasantly surprised the transfer dopamine addicts (as you put them) that are Clearlake held their naïve.

Agree with the rest too. I used to love transfer deadline day on Sky Sports in particular, properly felt like an event, but these owners have utterly killed my appetite & enthusiasm for signings
