Mali were 1 up on ivory coast who had 10 men from 45 min.. they equalised right before full time... Then nicked it in added time in extra time -122nd minutes. At least that's one player back, although he's been benched for the most part, when he did come on he looked legless.. no energy at all. Think the malaria has had an affect..(and the heat) he's nomally their key player. Will be interested to see how we deal with him when back home..

What fecking strain of malaria did he have Most strains if malaria are not too much worse than a common cold these days.

You are a total ignoramus. A know nothing idiot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How is that possible? I speak from experience of actually having had malaria a few times in my life.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well you're a damned liar, for one. And a stupid one at that.
You do not get Malaria multiple times. You get it once, forever.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You're extremely stoopid.

"You do not get malaria multiple times" So many silly myths about these things.
I think you mean you build up a resistance to malaria over time, which is what happened to me as I haven't caught it in years despite sometimes traveling to regions where it can happen.

Cannot see him playing for at least a couple of weeks. Malaria causes extreme fatigue and can be very debilitating. Certainly not worth risking him until he is fully recovered and his body has fully recovered.

Are you saying Bissouma got malaria?
How can that be?
You just take the pills before you leave and again while you're there. You have to be a royal idiot not to take the pills. Malaria is much easier to avoid getting than it is to get rid of. Could haunt him for the rest of his life with recurrences..

His team manager confirmed that both him and Diarra had malaria. So one needs to accept his word don’t we?

I know this isn't a travel forum, but just for safety reasons, please nobody act on the basis of the poster above claiming malaria is just like a bit of a cold or whatever.
Over half a million people die from malaria every year.
Some people might be affected less than others, but going to a malaria prevalent area and not taking anti-malarials is taking your life in your hands.
If in any doubt speak to your GP, don't take medical advice from JA606

Exactly. Medical science has pretty much cured Malaria these days, which is why Bissouma was back on the bench a few days after getting it. Bottle of jollop off the doc and you’re right as rain. Same as AIDS, nowadays AIDS meds are so effective you can have it, have unprotected bunk ups and the meds will stop you passing it on. So, no real need for Johnny’s now if you’re gay (obviously if you’re not gay and don’t wanna get some bird up the duff you’ll still need one). Getting AIDS these days is hardly any worse than getting conjunctivitis, who’d have thought that 30 years ago. This is why mental health and anxiety and all the other nonsense illnesses are becoming so prevalent - we’re wiping out all the actual diseases so the people that wanna be ill are having to make stuff up.

I'm not a doctor but I'm pretty sure idiots can catch malaria.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It is idiots who do catch it ...by not taking the usual precautions.
