Predictions
Iβm going for a score draw something like 2-2.
Both teams are missing a few players however no excuses for either side to put on a show and have a go.
3 points would be ideal though and then itβs up to city to react tomorrow.
Big game today

Exactly and Gomez gives us that solid base of 3 centre backs with Trent inverting. Whereas Robbo likes to go wonder-bouts sometimes and Van Dijk can get isolated. Can’t do that today against Arsenals attacking quality.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Doesn’t that deprive you of a very effective attacking weapon? Gomez is shiiit going forward

We got to watch our for arteta sam allardyce tactics of winning set pieces and corners and scoring from them.
They are less potent open play.
They scored at anfield from set piece as well I think and we are not great defenders of them

It gives us a more effective weapon on the other side, whilst also providing more defensive solidity should the ball be lost and facing a counter.

Surely you’d be far better with the two fullbacks that made you a top team over the last years, than a guy who’s terrible in any attacking sense?

Against the likes of Luton and Burnley at home yes. Not in a massive away game against a title rival.

Nope, since we've changed the system as teams learn how to play against you. When having an inverting full back who moves into midfield, it works better to have a fullback who is comfortable in the middle and good in the air. We don't play overlapping fullbacks anymore. We overload the midfield with an extra player. All the top teams are doing it, including the top three in the PL.

The game could have significant implications for the title race. I hope Atleti don't make Madrid regret their failure to bring in extra defensive cover.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yawn, mind the gap saan
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What gap? We're top of the league.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You’re blatantly a United fan as your article history suggests, so as mentioned mind the gap
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only English club I have any real liking for is Ipswich. Going by my family background, if there were any PL clubs I was to sympathise with, it would probably be Arsenal and Liverpool. If I tend to post my ja606 articles on the United board it's basically because I find they're the least insecure and defensive when it comes to discussing their own club with outsiders, and because they'll also pick up on other stuff apart from their own club. Look further back to my early posting history and you'll see I used to post on loads of boards.
There are plenty of nice enough folk around here too, but I'm afraid to say that there's a few of you who just make for a disagreeable overall experience for outsiders.
Take this article as Exhibit A. I played an innocent joke on the basis that it's also the Madrid derby tonight, and you answer like an utter aersehole. Par for the course with you.
