Just read the following article on Blue Cards / Sin Bins.

At this early stage, with the finer details yet to be ironed out, the proposals look like a decent idea. They would be implemented for dissent and cynical fouls which, for me, are two areas of the game that need to be eradicated, along with diving (which I think would be a problematic use of blue cards).
What say you?
Blue Cards / Sin Bins

A league table has been compiled of how many blue cards each team would have been given this season instead of yellow cards for dissent or tactical fouls.
Sheffield United would have had the most with 33 followed by Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd. Man City would have had the least with 15.
Wolves would have been 10th in the table with 25, 10 for dissent and 15 for tactical fouls. That means there would have been on average one part of each game where we would have been down to ten men for ten minutes.

It’s a good idea in theory, in practice not so sure.
However I believe something should be done to stop these offences.

Here's a scenario or two:-
What if more than one player shows dissent for the same incident? or
What if one or more players get the blue card while someone's already in the sin bin? Does a team go down to 9 or less men?
I'm sure referee's will be reluctant to have more than one player from the same team in the sin bin, which will negate the whole idea.
Bring back the ten yard rule, even it encroaches into the penalty area.
Only my thoughts on the crazy idea.

We'll just get the same inconsistency that we see with other decisions, interpretation will be down to the individual and the rules won't be tight enough to eliminate that.
The idea of a keeper getting a blue is the most interesting part of this actually, but otherwise you'd just get teams shathousing for ten minutes, killing the game until they're back to full strength.

Time wasting does need to be addressed although the time added on to the end of games nowadays does help make that less effective as a tactic. However the time added on is not consistently applied. In the recent Man Utd game at Molineux they added 6 minutes on but three VAR checks took longer than that let alone time for injuries and subs

The other things I would like to see addressed is cheating through diving and feigning injuries. There was a moment in the Brentford game when one of their players went down supposedly with cramp. He raised his leg and looked around for someone to help him relieve the pressure. Then when he realised the game wasn’t going to be stopped he jumped up and sprinted back 60 yards to help their defence.
I would like to see every game reviewed by a panel in the following days and if a player is spotted diving or feigning an injury then they should be given a retrospective yellow card. The authorities need to get serious about stopping these things rather than them just being accepted as part of the game

Great idea, mind you if it takes a long as a VAR check, it could take weeks.

You'll never stop players diving and ALL players do it, including ours. As for a panel reviewing all the matches to spot offenders is probably the most craziest post you've ever put up on here.

Yes all players dive. Our worst offender used to be Podence but, I'm sorry to say, I think it is now Cunha. Mind you he's Brazilian, so to be expected.

No question that reviewing the 10 games that take place every week is feasible. The premier league has more than enough funds to employ two people to do that. Only 20 hours a week plus writing a report. That would be hard work for an ex copper but not for a normal human being.
If my sensible post is the craziest I have ever posted then I have to take that as a compliment. As for the idiot wolfie it’s difficult to select which of his posts is the craziest. So many to choose from
