City on the horizon.

Its coming up, an absolute monster of a game this time and I cant help but think that klopp has probably been over cautious in keeping

Szlob
Salah
Nunez

Out of the Saints game because he knows Vs City he HAS to have them available. I think they play some part Vs Forest on Saturday before the city clash.

What a game Vs City! Soooo much riding on it, a win and that could be a springboard for the title win, hopefully it will mean a 4 point cushion and will absolutely demoralise City....Anfield WILL be rocking like a European heavyweight game!!

On the team to face City I am really hoping we have

....................Kellerher.......
Bradley...Konate...VVD..Robertson*
.....................Endo*..............
...........Szlob*......Macallister......
Salah*...........Nunez*.........Diaz

With those* players failing to play Vs Saints. If we can get that team out Vs City at Anfield then we will give city a real game.

These games usually end in draws, I suspect it will be the same - I then expect City to win every other game, so it will be on Liverpool to not drop any points in the remaining - which I can’t see.

My money is on City winning the league by 1 or 2 points again

Imo this is different, Anfield this time and a win is huge for liverpool..so I'm going liverpool win, caveat...as long as injuries clear up sufficiently!

trust a spurs fan to want to throw away the chance of top 4. Just to stop LFC from winning the league

Us finishing in the top 5 and getting a CL place is very unlikely to rest on our results at home to City and away to Liverpool. I expect we will lose both and still qualify for the CL. Our hopes really rest on the next 6 games - we need at least 4 wins imo

Yes but 5th now has an 80% chance of being a CL spot according to Opta stats. The German clubs had a nightmare in Europe the last round and what was a 50/50 for the last co efficient extra CL spot has now swung 80/20 in Englands favour.

I would very much fancy that if we don’t finish ahead of Villa then we will finish ahead of the rest and come 5th this qualifying

They don't usually end in draws at Anfield to be fair. More often than not we have beaten them at home while Guardiola has been in charge.

GB that city you see on the horizon, that’s Liverpool. It’s the place the team you support come from. You should visit it one day
