timestamped it for you and everything

I’m not justifying the decision. Frankly, I don’t know whether it’s right or not.
What I’m saying is that there’s a clear distinction between the United and Liverpool incidents.
Anyone putting it down to some sort of bias etc. is ignoring the clear difference between the two. Plenty of people have explained it in the media.
It’s not about seeing into the future. It’s about basing a decision on where players are and what is around them. Surely you can see that?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
yes i can see that, and its nonsense reasoning. Some players are faster than others, the balls whipped in at differentt speeds, angles and everything come into play. So unless you can see the future its a facking ridiculous excuse and bit of reasoning to rule out a goal, something most fans want to see most in the game of football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s literally the rules.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
lol, another lie. no its not the rules are hazy at the best of times. I highly doubt theres a rule stating the refs should base their decision on starting positions and predictitng the future.

‘Another lie’
Is it possible to discuss this without these pathetic comments by any chance?
It is in the rules. You can complain about the rules all you like, but they are what they are and within them, it’s really very easy to see the difference between the two incidents.

Its absolute nonsense winston, the forest player is at max a meter away from casemeiro when hes pushed to the ground by varane lol Not much difference between that and Endo one. As i said so idk why you think thats a clear difference.
And the law states any player offside player interfering with the the run of an opponent towards the ball is deemed an offside offence. Doesnt state anywhere starting distances, interpretations or anything of the sort.So looking at the law both should have been ruled out yet only one was.
As Term said both should stand or both ruled out theres nothing in the law to state otherwise.

so? you think the law goes into great detail now on how many players are between too lol?
it doesnt

How they deemed a player 1 meter or less away from the eventual goalscorer not in a position to get back to a ball but in the other one they did is a joke. theres other players stopping colwill too including his own team mate who was marking vvd chillwell. Was he deemed to get back knock chillwell out the way and beat vvd to the ball?
Its clearly one rule for one another for the other.

It’s a bit much to contend that the player was challenging for the ball when his own team mate was between him and the ball as it was dropping.

heres my view on them both, can the player get back if not impeded and stop the goal? yes both possibly could depending on speed of the player, height, angles the pace of the ball played in and numerous other factors.
Was it likely? no it wasnt, therefore was it right to rule out any of the two goals scored? no just use common sense let them stand most fans want to see more goals not have them ruled out after 2 mins dissecting minor details tryna predict this or that.

Fair enough.
But I think the difference between the two is clear - highly unlikely the Forest player runs through his own player to win the ball.
