Barnsley v Bolton Wanderers

How are we all feeling? How are we handling the pressure? Ian Evatt is feeling the pressure, I'm feeling it. This is the 9th midweek fixture on the trot id you include the abandoned fixture at Cambridge. A brutal run of high pressure games which has affected us all. I think we're all looking forward to the international break after the block of 4 upcoming fixtures where we can all reset, get players back fit and look forward to a more manageable run in with bank holiday and Saturday and Sunday fixtures with better weather. First up Barnsley away at oakwell this evening. Postponed from October and the last of the games in hand. Probably the biggest game of the season so far. The stakes. A win or draw Bolton go 2nd above derby, a defeat we lose our advantage over derby and Barnsley will go 3rd and then relying on other results. Team news. Not going to see Mendes Gomes for a while. Baxter and Charles should be back after the break and the other 3 long term Johnston, Taylor and Nlundulu are doing well and could even be involved before the end of the season. Is evatt going to pick an unchanged side or will he overthink and do something daft. Likely starting 11. Coleman. Jones Santos Toal. Dacres-cogley Maghoma Sheehan Thomason Ogbeta. Adeboyejo Collins. Kick off 7.45pm.

You can bet IE won't change his ways after that.

We have to hope that we can keep winning from now on but this is hard for the supporters.

I might sleep tonight but it could have been so different.

I'll bid you goodnight. I'll be back tomorrow.

Should have won that even from 2-0. Thought iredale was brilliant when he came on pushing us forward, plus Williams and Jerome. Böðvarsson was a bad miss.

Shouldn't have let them go 2 up in the first place.
Life would be so much easier, if we cut out the sleepy sloppy stuff.

Talking of sleepy
What a night, talk about the ups and downs. We never have done anything the easy way have we.
I'm off to try and get some sleep.

Thanks Benny

Crazy night.
Took me ages to get to sleep.

You'd think we'd be used to nights like that by now, we've had our fair share of them over the years.

The score last night and our return to an automatic promotion place put a different complexion on our situation. A win at Exeter on Saturday should solidify our claim on an automatic promotion place, but we still have some hard games to come.

I don't think these international breaks do us any good, they leave us catching up, when other teams are forging ahead. The only positive is our walking wounded could be ready to rejoin the fray.

I hope that Dacres Cogley's injury is just a bruise that allows him to be in the squad on Saturday.

Team news is out. *
Dion isn't taking his boots to Exeter.

* Subject to change, between now and kick off on Saturday.

I'm off to the seaside for a swim today.
It's a good excuse to visit some shops for match day treats on route.
Plus, I can stock up on some meds for the run in. Don't want to be running of them, do we?
