Most emotional Chelsea goal or goals

So as a Chelsea fan, which Chelsea goal or goals caused you the highest state of emotion?

For me it's Drogba's last gasp equaliser in 2012 CL final which instantly transfered my emotional state of despair to hope but there are many others to choose from such as:

Drogba's penalty in 2012 CL
Torres goal agst Barca 2012 CL
Lampard's goals agst Bolton 2005 PL
Havertz goal 2021 CL
Bridge late goal at Highbury 2004 CL<I was in the North Bank for that one 😀 >

The list is not exhaustive

For emotion I think it's difficult to look past Drogba's contribution in Munich, I also was fortunate to be present and it was the greatest weekend of my life bar none.

We had been second best all game, had deservedly conceded a late goal after 83 minutes and looked like we were going to get exactly what we deserved (which was nothing) then Drogs gets a goal out of almost nothing and suddenly we are miraculously back in the game.

Everything was stacked against us succeeding, including playing the game in their own stadium, effectively making it a home game for them and on paper they were a far superior team to us at that time and all we had in our favour was an iron resilience to somehow prevail against all the odds.

Extra time brought more rollercoaster rides, where we survive a penalty and even in the penalty shoot out we were 1-3 down at one point and staring down the barrel. Drogba's penalty was the first opportunity all night that we had been presented with, to cut their throats (they were up on offer at that point) and like all big game serial winners do - he stepped up and did it!!

I think I'd give it to Torres' Nou Camp goal on balance. I've never had a change of emotion so dramatic after a goal than that one.

That was easily the most stressful footballing experience of my life, and all that tension draining away was relieving af. I felt like I'd been given water after running a marathon, I can only imagine how the players must've felt.

Hazard's goals in Baku were quite emotional as I knew it was his last game for us and I doubt I'll see a more naturally talented exciting player at our club in my lifetime.

All of the above but a couple of others that stick out for me is Mark Hughes's winning goal against Vicenza in the second leg of the European Cup Winners semi final. Also Zola's winner in the Final against Stuttgart.

Drog's equaliser V Bayern @ Alliance to take us into extra time has to be on the list.
Torres's 2012 in terms of the spectacular and tension relief,
And most fun worthy : Lampard's strike that caused the Liverpool Finnish back , forget his name ...to own goal in extra time....first leg ECL match (1-1).

Great shout for Mark Hughes. I was watching the game 8i a Courchavel bar and literally ran up to the TV and kissed it when he scored.

Summer great appraisal of that game, as I explained the Luiz penalty at 3-1 against was for me the point where i believed we might come back and win it

He took it with such confidence and venom, he really was dodgy defender, but he had the heart of a lion.

The first time i recognised him , was when he nearly cut Tevez in half with a challenge

Yes you’re bang on Iffy. When you think about it the two pens by Luiz and Lampard were particularly brave considering we had no margin for error at that point. Cole and Drogs (standard) also did their stuff.

That game, the Germans were really convinced that they had cup won prior to the start.

The massive cup image at the end of the stadium

After the game they were whacked, totally 7 issed & stunned

Yeah , likewise my most memorable footballing weekend

Di Matteo after 43 seconds. For a 19 year old who was so distraught 3 years earlier, that I can't to this day remember any of the train journey back to Berwick-upon-Tweed, I almost shot my bolt

Super Frank scoring days after his mum's passing. I know I'm weird but that was really emotional and I have uet to lose either of my parents.

Next one not a goal, but a moment. The final whistle for Pool at home in 2003. I felt that was the moment that saved my football club. (Was 6 in 83 and didn't know any better back then)

Drogba's free kick against Portsmouth. I knew we were gonna do the double.
