Good played well. Lets not forget Villa played a tough game Thursday against Ajax so we was fortunate from that point but a great win.

That wasn't fortune. Villa set up very negatively. Handed us the possession and momentum which cost them as they chased the ball a lot as a result.

Villa overthought the tactics and paid for it.

It looked like they were even trying a low block at times.

Great result for spurs. On to the next.

Some good news for us is in relation to the top 4 is that Villa have lost 3 out of their last 4 home games to ourselves, United and Newcastle since the new year, whereas last year they were killing it having gone all 10 home games unbeaten and beating City and Arsenal there in the process. Could be something is amiss for them which is only go to work to our advantage.

I do think we'll finish no lower than 4th place now.

Apart from VDV it couldn't have gone any better. A 4 goal hammering with all our main forwards contributing, and a clean sheet for the defenders. We even overtook them for GD. Happy days.

I actually think it’s a strain, not a tear so I’d imagine he’ll be back after the international break. It does show there’s a weakness there though.

Not seen the replay of this match as yet.
Not happy to hear vdv injured again.......is it hamstring again? If so, this guy is in danger of a short career.
How did Dragusin play? Capable of taking over from vdv, is he?
Just as fast, perhaps?
More of an enforcer perhaps?
