Getting this one in early as I've a busy few days coming up, or so she tells me anyway

I was surprised to find that this is the first time we've played Cov for nearly 10 years. Two 1-1 draws in the League 1 season when the sky blues were off on one of their exiles in Northampton. And 40 years since we last played them in the FA Cup, two more 1-1s followed by a 3-0 defeat in the second replay at Highfield Road. I remember the middle game of those three back in 1984 as it was the last time I stood on the old north bank. The next game I went to was over two years and two relegations later by which time the old terrace was closed.

Coventry sit 8th in the championship just a point of the play offs under long standing manager Mark Robins.

Selection issues for Gary O'Neil, having suggested last week that Matheus Cunha could return for this game, he will be wary of rushing him back too soon after the losing both Hwang and Neto who played after tight hamstrings and are now out for extended periods. Bellegarde will also be missing, leaving us painfully short of forward options. Sarabia and Fraser with Rayan Ait-Nouri filling in could well be the starting option unless he opts to bring one of the kids in. Let's hope he can but only when the game is already won.

This marks a year of match threads for yours truly which of course also means its a year since Gem posted his last comments. Hope he's been looking down and enjoying the season so far.

Goldi's prediction: 2-0

Bolla is out on loan, difficult to imagine him coming back to play for Wolves. Guess like one or two others he’ll be on the payroll until his contract runs out

Went to Budapest once. Great city. Stayed on the Buda side close to a great bar that sold good beer and played good music with the walls decorated with album covers.

Is the other side of the city called "Pest"?

I've stayed on both the Buda side and the Pest side. I've been once with my wife and then once on a stag do. Two very different experiences.

Really enjoyed it there both times though. Great city to visit.

Bendegúz Bolla was a strange signing. Bought for 2m euros and loaned out the very next day to Grasshoppers. Now at Servette with an option to buy at the end of this season. Still has 2 more years on his contract. Not played a minute for the first team.

Another great example of the club using the loan market to get players valuable minutes.

In Budapest for a few days away, thought about getting tickets for their friendly against Kosovo but were told it's sold out out so watching in a bar with the magyars, won 2-0, Bolla started, is he still a wolves player or have we shipped him off now?

Apparently we still own Bolla , cracking city Budapest would recommend outdoor spa and those chimney cakes but not at the same time

Come on goldi it’s depressing to keep looking back on the Coventry thread. Time to refocus on the league, even if you put up a thread in Hungarian
