I'd have taken a title push that ends with third and QF in the CL before the season started. Steady progress for a young manager and squad.

I will happily take CL qualification this season for a side in its first season with a new manager, having finished 8th last year and selling Kane in the summer. Most pundits had us finishing 7/8th again - instead were competing for CL - that’s why I can look at today as a bad day at the office, the bigger picture looks fine to me and I fully expect us to only improve from here

Yeah would be a great season for you also with a young squad, today might work out being an important lesson in complacency for you lot in the run in

Exactly the key thing from a loss like that is to learn the lessons. Mainly Ange, the line up wrong, that front 3 does not work together. He has said our intensity was wrong - I totally agree, but why. If he is as good as we think he is then he will learn and improve from this.
