You want to condense international breaks, across many continents, timezones and climates, to fit into the European summer because of the premier league. It’s a logistical nightmare for fans, hosts, teams and players.

You know every country in the world apart from 7 plays their league during the European winter? The world football calendar is much more in sync than people seem to think.

Not true.
Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Japan, Korea and many Asian leagues, MLS, Brazil, Uruguay, Ecuador, Canada are just some who don't.

Fckin hate these Interethnicity breaks in the middle of the season.

Surely we must already be doing this for the tournaments? Why not just do the qualitying the odd years, tournaments in the even years, same "disruption" each year.

I'd hate it to be condensed simply because IMO it would severely affect the smaller nations (vested interest disclaimer here!) because missing a few players through injury/too small a squad to cope with a lot of games in a short time could be a killer.

No PL or FA Cup games this weekend. I can afford to treat the Mrs.

I think at least fecking off the friendlies would be a start. Maybe have them lumped together with a bigger squad size allowed so more players get a fair go at impressing rather than keeping small regular tournament squads.

Just a few meaningful games during the league season. Nations league straight in the bin too.

Yeah, makes no sense why friendlies still exist tbh.

England vs Brazil sold out. England vs Belgium almost sold out. Tickets selling fast. Both at premium prices. Just like England and Brazil, replica shirts.

The match going England supporters want high profile international games, as do all the players involved and the associated Football Associations.

Makes a lot of 'sense' to me. Kerchinnng!
