Highlandwhite Matchday Thread ================================================
Kick off 8pm, Live on Sky Sports and Talksport.
Welcome to matchday 39 and another live Friday night game, this time away to Watford.
Team news
LEEDS
Following the international games we have major injury doubts over Roberts, Gnonto and Gruev. Firpo only arrives home Friday morning, Georginio is recovering from an operation and Struijk is out for the season
WATFORD
Ngakia missing but Lewis and Andrews should return after missing international duty
Watford haven't won in 9 home games stretching back to November, are currently lying 13th and won't make the play offs or be relegated. We're in tremendous form but with so many injury concerns and the penalty shootout loss possibly affecting our Welsh contingent this may not be as easy as it should be.
However it's Good Friday and therefore we be will good for a tight 2.1 victory with Bamford on target. Over to the best fans in 606 for your predicted line ups and scorelines.
Can we go Live once again please Admins

Both back when it really matters, then
Matteo Joseph now guaranteed some serious game-time.
Archie G may have to stick it out starting as rb a bit longer ... may not be a bad thing long-term

Do you not think we looked solid with Byram at RB, Firpo at LB, and the Ampadon in between? That allows Gray and Kamara to play in the midfield. We had a lot more control when they were playing together. Not too worried about the front four - we have enough there to score against anyone in this league.
I would like to see Joseph get more game time, but Anthony, Cree, Rutter and DJ are a formidable front line. Considering he's had two weeks off, PB was a big disappointment tonight and Piroe looks a long way from his early season promise.

Having seen many other similar comments on the BBC match report, I’m more convinced than ever that Farke cost us points tonight. This may end up being his most critical call of the season.

Yep, when I saw Coops in the lineup, I was worried. Sorry Coops but your time with us is finished. We’ve got to have Amps and Rodon as CB pairing in these final games now.

we must be realistic, no need for a knee jerk reaction, to jump on some things, why moan?

......"I will take this point all day long. I am really happy and proud of the boys. We played this game at the worst possible moment. Watford, they have a new manager and there is new belief, he knows the players inside out and they were unleashed and had a great start.
"We had the worst possible international break. For us three players came back injured and three Welsh players had the disappointment of not being allowed to go to the Euros. We had not one first team training session as a team.
"We had to play this game by just pressing a button and we were not at our best rhythm. Then to play such a second half, I'm pretty happy with the outcome."

Problem is it’s all too easy to expect 3pts from every match based on the way we’re playing - but 1pt from a decent Watford side is a pretty good return .
