Not sure I’d want Scott Parker. Not heard good things about him. Would rather get Cooper to get us out of the division if we did implode further in the last 8 games.

Genuine question, lose to Norwich and do we sack Maresca to try and fall over the line for promotion?
My thought is no and that it would do more harm than good, but it’s a genuine concern right now.

Genuine question - do you still have faith in the board? Or are you starting to think that actually they haven’t really fixed the sinking ship, but are actually starting to make it worse?
They’ve taken a hell of a gamble on promotion this season by reportedly far exceeding the allowable EFL losses on the basis the EFL wouldn’t be able to touch them. Strikes me the club are still gambling just the way they used to

In any case - it’s far too late to make a change now. That’s the kind of awful decision making that saw us end up with Dean Smith. The first problem you have is someone wanting to take over at this stage of the season (which is why we ended up with Smith last time). Who wants to touch a club that HAS to get promoted to have any kind of short term prospects with an incoming points deduction and transfer embargo on the horizon
Almost like history’s repeating itself right guys? Funny that

Looks like we're likely out of the automatics with another abysmal display

1 down 1 to go. This not getting automatic promotion would be the bottle jobs of all bottle jobs.

I still have faith in Whelan and Top but question Rudkin.

And who do you think is keeping Rudkin in a job - allowing him to continue potentially making fatal mistakes? Yep - that’s where your logic starts to wobble doesn’t it?

I simply don't know enough about Whelan's involvement in this mess to judge to what extent she is culpable, but I'm reasonably certain Rudders isn't fit to remain in post; Top needs to take decisive action, but probably not until the season has come to a conclusion - if we are not promoted and he still doesn't, then there has to be a question over the longer term ownership of the club.

If Top was going to take decisive action over Rudkin in any shape or form then it would have been last season. Instead - he was given the authority to conduct the review into what went wrong. It’s a bit like asking an arsonist to conduct an investigation into the cause of the fire he started.
Top has reportedly handed Rudkin unprecedented control over several sporting related aspects of the King Power group - not just Leicesters football operations. He is evidently completely reliant on him - a sign of a weak owner who badly needs independent advice.
I would expect Rudkin to firmly remain in post while ever Top continues in post.

This is what I also am sadly coming to expect unfortunately, but I am still willing to cut Top/KP a bit more slack in the hope that he will come to his senses. In a way, Top does have an easy out with Rudders as he can get him to concentrate on the other aspects of his KP work whilst replacing him with someone competent as DoF. The flaw in that scenario is who would Top possibly look to for advice on the new appointee to take over as DoF I wonder?
