Batty, for a team with parachute payments we ain't done to good, did we not lose most of that because of these dumbwit deals that we couldn't sell with?..

We let something like about 12 leave and brought in how many, and our dearest player we brought in before we got our so called parachute payments, Leicester and Southampton got more out of their payments than we did ours!..

Shaun, if Ipswich deserve to go up than they will!..

--------------------

we have to stop beating this 'dumwit contracts' drum at some point Germany.

highest points total in a million years.

how many new records have been set?

players didn't want to play for us, got some that did.

we really are over complicating it, it made it a difficult start yes, but no guarantee if we would have had 'the old squad' they would have done as well as this one has.

Farke done an amazing job tho, you're quite right.

think the point is Ipswich's squad oln paper looks nowhere near that of Leeds, Leicester, Southampton. Mckenna batting way above his average.

6 games to go, lets concentrate on these games.

don't go up, then I'm sure we'll have inquest on here, Kebab be telling us about 0.009% loss we've taken, LIW's shoulders shrugged out so much he needs surgery, Batty telling us how we needed to spend 5 billion in January

Greenwood should have stayed, scored a great free kick in November, Arronson could have been sold for a better price (maybe a quid or two more)

shoulda woulda coulda - lets go and get promoted eh?

lets go and get promoted - Agreed 100%.

We could've made it a tad easier if we'd done more
in January though. A few of us said that back then.

We've been very lucky with injuries, right up to now.
Which has meant the club's gamble not to do more
in January is 6 games away from being proven right.

But, with those 6 games remaining, and Leicester
having a game in hand plus the EFL not looking
likely to punish them with a points deduction, having
some seasoned help in the squad in key places
was never a bad idea.

Struijk gone. Gnonto, Roberts, and the hugely
influential Gruev injured right at nut cutting time.
Having to have an unproven 17 year old Charlie Crew
on the bench to weather that storm. And having one
#9 in Bamford, who couldn't score in a brothel,
all adds up to sweating bullets during the run in
and hoping the players we do have hold up.

I hope the gamble does pay off. And I hope the EFL
do punish Leicester (rightly, the cheating gits). And
I hope we clinch one of the two auto spots.

It's been a great season.

Be a shame if we didn't get what we all badly want.

Just a quick postscript on my earlier comment - I’ve just listened to DF’s pre-Coventry presser … he was asked a question which was essentially whether his regime had worked this season … DF answered it depends on what happens in the next 6 games (no, I’m not his speech-writer😁).

You do know since the window opened, we have got 41 points out 45 ???

You do know, that we had 9 players on the sub bench ??

Your making out like we had to put Crew on bench because we run out or players.

Also on the bench

Darlow
Cresswell
Cooper
shackleton
Anthony
Gelhardt
Piroe
Joesph.

Hull only had 7 subs by the way 👍

We’ve got quite a few injuries and we can still put a bench out like that🤦

How many players do you want 🤷🏻‍♂️ Why waste money on players we didnt knee.

Jesus Christ that might be the limpest fist in history.

Well done LIW/Bamford d'Or fan boy.

We as a club have played 40 Championship
games so far this season.

Bamford d'Or has played 29 matches including cups.
Scored 8 goals including cups.
Gets paid 4.2 million euro a year.
30+ years old and runs around like a headless chicken.

We could've signed both Brownlee brothers and
done more running around. They might've scored
9 goals while they were at it.

Plays the fiddle, speaks French, does a podcast.
Misses countless sitters when it matters.

Only bloke on the planet who can play #9 for Leeds.
At this rate, he'll be playing up front for us until he's 60.

Cult of delusional fan boys.

Darlow - Think you've trashed him constantly
when defending Meslier.
Cresswell - Farke won't play him, why?
Cooper - No one would play him
Shackleton - When he's not injured, he still doesn't play
Anthony - Excellent player, ridden the bench
Gelhardt - Farke won't play him, why?
Piroe - Think you trashed him constantly
Joesph - Can't get past Bamford D'Or

Yep, great bench.

Squad of this quality never been seen before in football.
