Bristol Rovers v Bolton Wanderers

Back on the road where we haven't been as good as at home. Bolton have gone 6 away without a win and just 3 points picked up playing against a Bristol side that haven't won in 5 so something has to give today or will it be another away draw that will kill off the automatic promotion chase? The task for Bolton. Win their last 5 games and hope derby don't win one of their last 4 or just one game at a time and win today to reduce the deficit to derby who don't play until wednesday to 1 point. Team news. We've had a lot of rambling in the bn and from evatt this week so I will try to make sense of it. Baxter could be available today, Charles another week away, Jones back for Portsmouth, Taylor and Nlundulu are back in training and potentially could play at some stage, Johnston also training but being held back until next season, Adeboyejo still out but should be available for the end of the season. So the cavalry is on its way but unlikely to be available today. Likely starting 11. Coleman. Toal Santos Iredale. Dacres-cogley Maghoma Sheehan Thomason Ogbeta. Böðvarsson Collins. Kick off is 3pm.

Derby slipping up gives us a chance to go up in the automatic spots, but as Evatt keeps saying, we need to win all our games.

Dion should claim his rightful place on the bench.
Next stop the B team, then through the door marked Exit.

Today, the Ben recalls the good olde day of a local newspaper.
They look back, to when Bruce Rioch and Gordon Shorrock provided a good read.

Both Sheehan and Rico are fit to play tomorrow. Just what we need, also as Pasty wrote, Dion will be on the bench and more than likely come on as a sub later in the game.

I'm pleased that we have the former two fit to play, Sheehan is a must and we have won more games when Rico plays than when he hasn't, we also need him to play.

Dion might take a couple of games to get match fit but I would sooner have him in the squad than not. We all know he misses a good share of sitters, but so have other members of the squad.

I hope that we are getting back to the point we were earlier in the season when we won 7 games on the trot. This run would only need to be a six-game run.

Big day today chaps.
It'll be a stressful day, let us hope IE gets it right.

Yes, once again we will be playing the most important game of the season. Win this one and if Derby and Peterborough both drop points; we will be on our way to a very tense finish in the remaining three games, but securely in the driving seat.
