Highlandwhite Anniversary Matchday Thread ================================================
Hard to believe it's been one year since we lost our Good Friend and Mentor Peter Legge aka Highlandwhite.
No doubt he is up there laughing and thinking, look at the state of those gobschietes down there thinking they know anything about football.
A time to remember absent friends.
Welcome to matchday 41, six more games to go and potentially none more difficult than this one.
Team news
LEEDS
Along with the long term injured Gnonto Roberts Shackleton are still out, Gruev unlikely to be risked. Clamour for Joseph to start but Farke has hinted the starting line up will be unchanged.
COVENTRY
Missing Jamie Allen, Godden and the impressive Sakamoto, otherwise at full strength.
Coventry have won 3 and lost 3 of their last six games and are 4 points off a play-off place with a game in hand. Let's hope their mind is on the FA cup semi final in 2 weeks where they have a definite chance against the worst team left in the competition
A win is essential, the pressure is on us but we're easily capable of beating yet another unpredictable opposition. Will go 2.1 with Archie Gray coming good.

Bamford really has a way of letting us down when it comes to the crunch - got history. Needs dropping.
Thought Gray had an awful first 10 minutes. First could have played an easy ball to Summerville but scuffed his shot instead and then could have put the ball out for the corner for their first goal but let him get it to cross. Poor.

Maybe this is a separate thread but, I can't remember
another player who gets excused for everything more
than Bamford.
He's sh 1 t. Nowhere near worth the #9 shirt or the
wedge he steals weekly. He was past it two years ago.
One day the club will wake up and realize they were
stupid to put so much faith and moolah in him.
Please let this bull sh1 t end. Start Joseph.

Our upturn in form in January coincided with the return of Bamford and I was as surprised as anyone, he was good value for a while but lately looks a mile off the pace. We are still too slow moving the ball around side to side just eating up time we don't have, but we looked a lot more potent when Piroe, Joseph and Gnonto came on.

A missed opportunity, yes, but that was probably our toughest remaining fixture. Meanwhile, the Tractor boys have got Coventry, Hull, Watford and Boro on the menu. If they get second place, they deserve to go up.

Coventry didn’t reach the FA Cup semi-final without knowing how to out in a top performance against top sides.
Hopefully this is the long expected glitch out of the way and we can somehow take advantage of an Ipswich slip-up over the next two games.

Agree! Forest and Everton getting points deductions, and Leicester getting away with it will rob Ipswich or us of an automatic spot.

Should do the decent thing and give them -6 pts now. They're playing with illegal players ff5.

Leicester know they are not going to get any points deducted this season and have now found their form again and can play worry free. It is just wrong that they are treated differently from Everton and Forest and are not being punished now. They are playing with players they shouldn’t have been able to buy in January who have given them an advantage. We will probably be the team who pays the price.

Leicester are by no means home and dry either. They still have Southampton, West Brom and Preston. If I was a foxes fan, I would not be feeling inspired after the last two performances.

Bamford runs lukewarm for three games a season' then craters to the usual sh 1 te, rest of. He's lucky he has
so many idiots willing to fall on the sword for him every'
week. Mental.
If we do get promoted, can fully see that useless fck
keeping the #9 shirt as he must have photos of the
higher ups. Only explanation at this point.
