Rumours the game could be called off because of it apparently. Still on as it stands but if fan attendance affects the police investigation in any way, they’ll have to postpone it. Latest tweet from about 10 mins ago says on “as it stands”. Not looking good.

New update: game on.

Well another must win game today. Hopefully we do and then it’s a free punt of games nobody expects us to win or get any form of result.

Hopefully at this juncture Ange keeps his nerve and continues to ply on the front foot. Although I want more tactical nowse from him in games I think any change now will be disastrous and he has to continue as we have.

With only 3 points behind and 2 games in hand we can afford to lose one of our big games (let's say Liverpool away). After that I would say our fixtures are pretty even with Villa's in terms of difficulty, as long as we win our game tomorrow. It could be tight but realistically with them having European football I would say we'd be slight favourites for top 4.

Lets just win tomorrow and then take stock of where we are!
Villa have been losing but....we're not exactly reliable, are we?

Well the top 4 race is in our hands, so technically we could afford to lose one and still finish above Villa, providing we win the rest and win them well enough to beat Villa's goal difference. Obviously it won't come to that and we should aim to win them all. But it's nice to be in this current situation. I'd rather be in our position than Villa's.
