Tell you what, how about we swap Maresca for Farke? He's like Southgate lite, only liter. McKenna was the winner tonight.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I’d take that deal every day of the week. You’d be watching some of the worst football you’ve ever seen
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can imagine Leeds just about had enough of Farke as we have Maresca, it’s lose lose.

I could send you the link to our game tonight, but I would get charged with indecent exposure

Probably but let’s be honest Leeds were a mess when Farke walked in and in the middle of a takeover. He’s done a pretty good job with them in the circumstances.

If Ipswich win the championship it will blow Rudkins tiny mind. He thought we could Man City our way through the division with the highest paid squad in history and set ourselves up for a return to Europe.

Ipswich are potentially about to get back to back promotions by working their socks off and playing as a cohesive team
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I might be wrong as I’ve only watched them on 3 or 4 occasions but they seem to have a tactic of throwing on 3-4 fresh players for the last 10-15 minutes and grabbing one or two very late goals.
I’ve not researched this….

I mean they have a manager that knows how to impact games I guess

I don't think I've ever changed my view on a manager as quickly as I have on Maresca. I think my patience and trust has finally snapped for good today.

I was at the game on Saturday. Another average performance but we got the late winner and everything seemed rosy, it felt like we had turned a corner and we'd cruise over the line. Then they go and put in a performance like that tonight. You just cannot rely on this team or this manager.

He did a lot of good work in the first half of the season. The players seemed like they were easing their way through games and learning this style. He's clearly a good coach and the players seem to enjoy playing under him. But since the Coventry game, we have been awful, the performances have gotten worse, the attacking fluidity we were starting to develop has evaporated and the players seem as if they have been overcoached to within an inch of their lives.

It's remarkable that both us and Leeds may well end up top 2 with close to 100 points each, yet a majority of both sets of fans seem to want their managers out. With the squads at their disposal, you can't really deny that both Maresca and Farke are making hard work of this and arguably underperforming with what they have.

Whether we go up or not, I honestly don't think Maresca will be here. And the longer this goes on, the less I am starting to care. I just don't think the guy has it in him, and that's really disappointing because there's clearly a very good coach with potential there. As a manager, he just seems lacking at the moment and is not learning from his very obvious mistakes. Sigh.

Foxello, you could replace the word 'Maresca' with 'Farke', and everyone in Leeds would agree with you.

Just literally read the last comment from Foxello - sums it up perfectly for me. Could not agree more with your comments. I don't care if he goes at all - good job in what he's done results wise, but the performances and style of play are woeful.

I also echo Foxello’s comments. Hard to describe how dire last night’s ‘performance’ (I hesitated over the use of that word; non-performance would have been more accurate). Fatawu and Mavididi are the epitome of inconsistency. Daka is probably worse than Akinbadbuy, with whom he is being more regularly compared. Faes has lost the plot. Not sure Doyle is really up to it.
For Plymouth I’d have Coady and Nelson in the middle of Ricardo and Justin. Consider Praet as a starter with Albrighton and Marcel out wide. Vestergaard has striker, hold up man and target from Albrighton’s crosses. It can’t be any worse than last night!

I can understand the angst but at the end of the Day if he gets us promoted he's done his job and done a fantastic job.

His issue ironically was starting too well and like many fans, it seems like some players are up their own Ar$es as well assuming we were already promoted but also think we have some kind of God Given Right to demand it just because we 'are too good for this division, earn too much for this division' etc.

The Season ends after 46 Games and that's when it all matters where we are.

PS - I'm not convinced about his style of Football either, this modern Football is carp for fans but it's now a results Business, that's literally all that matters these days.

Up the City.
