Time to go chop up some 🌳s
An unlikely rivalry has built up around this fixture, fueled in no small part by one of our academy players moving across the midlands and developing a hearing impediment it would appear judging by his rare goal celebrations.
Morgan Gibbs White (4 goals, 7 assists) is of course one of the reasons why Forest picked up a 4 point deduction, but at least we put the money to good use, Matheus Cunha (9 goals, 6 assists) and Pablo Sarabia (4 goals, 7 assists) helping to ensure relegation is not a worry for us this time around.
But this of course is also about the coach, we have to put aside our love for Nuno for a day and wish him nothing but damnation and misfortune on Saturday as he comes up against a former club for the second weekend running.
They do have dangerous players though, Chris Wood, one time Sandwellian, likes a goal against us, Elanga can be a danger too.
Will be interesting to see if Cunha can start, Bellegarde could also make the bench to strengthen our forward options and Craig Dawson could return too. Thing is who deserves to be dropped? Would be harsh on Bueno who's done little wrong, less so on Kilman and Toti who have had their moments.
All our remaining games, with the possible exception of the Palace one, are against sides that have something to play for at either end of the table whilst our session is virtually dead. Which makes this a difficult call but I'll go for an optimist 1-1.

Luton have some very winnable games from now till the end of the season. Everton play Forest next. Loser of that one could be in trouble.

Don't understand what is going on at Everton right now as they were more than capable early season and without deductions are only 8 points behind us.
Makes you wonder if they are looking for relegation.

Here is a theory thrown out on MM early, no idea how logical this is
My guess is MSP forces 777 out, keeps the stadium, lets the club go into administration to wipe out their debts and accepts relegation as a consequence. A new owner then steps into pick up the pieces in the Champ with any players of value sold, but a club largely debt free and still in Goodison. After a year or three, a revamped Everton get promoted and lease the new stadium from MSP and sell Goodison
