We take another step towards the end of the season and still so much to play for. There is also a horse race that divides the countries sensibilities and some golf.
Premier League
A 3pm Saturday game in the title race is rare, but City are first to play and host Luton Town. Liverpool go next, 2pm tomorrow at home to Crystal Palace. Arsenal also have home comforts in the 4:30pm game tomorrow against Aston Villa.
Spurs, fighting for 4th with Villa, start the PL action away to Newcastle at 12:30. The minor European places are still up for grabs, with Bournemouth hoping to force themselves into the discussion when they host Man Utd at 5:30pm today.
The relegation "6 pointer" is Brentford versus Sheffield United, Burnley have Brighton and Forest host Wolves - all at 3pm. Everton go to Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
Championship
A week of bottling culminated in Leicester losing to lowly Plymouth last night. Leeds get the chance to go top at 12:30 against Blackburn, while Ipswich host Middlesbrough at 3.
The relegation fight is no more clearer. Birmingham (42pts) host play-off chasing Coventry. Sheffield Wednesday (43) host Stoke (46) in a 6 pointer, Huddersfield (43) go to Bristol City, while Blackburn (46), Millwall (47) and QPR (47) still need points.
Preston versus Norwich is the big game in the play-off chase, with the Canaries 5 points clear of PNE and Coventry but having played a game more. Middlesbrough and Hull are also in the fight.
League 1
The big game sees third placed Bolton host a Portsmouth side who will clinch the title with a win. Bolton are 2 points behind Derby with a game in hand, the Rams host Leyton Orient.
Carlisle are already down, Fleetwood could join them today, but Cheltenham, Port Vale and Burton are fighting to avoid the other 2 places.
League 2
Wrexhams title hopes will be over if Stockport beat Morecambe and the Welsh side lose to relegation scrappers Forest Green. The big game sees MK Dons host Mansfield, with the Stags having a 2 point advantage having played a game less than their rivals for the third automatic place.
FGR will be all but down if they lose and Sutton beat Harrogate, while Colchester (away to Crawley) and Grimsby (away to Crewe) are still fighting for survival.
Scottish Premier League
Last weeks Old Firm derby ended level, so Celtic can go 4 points clear with a win at home to St Mirren today. Rangers go to Ross County tomorrow and have a game in hand.
Bundesliga
Bayer Leverkusen can seal the title tomorrow with a win at home to Werder Bremen, although it could be confirmed today if Bayern fail to beat FC Koln and Stuttgart lost to Eintacht.
Ligue 1
Not many games this week, but 2nd placed Brest could put a 4 point gap over Monaco in third if they beat Lyon tomorrow. Brest and Monaco meet next week. No games for Monaco, PSG or the European tournament teams.
Serie A
Inter host Cagliari tomorrow while AC Milan go to Sassuolo. The title cannot be won this weekend, but if results go their way Inter could be 17 points clear with 18 to play for! An Inter win extinguishes any hope for Juventus.
La Liga
With a 8 point advantage, Real go to Mallorca looking to extend that before Barca host Cadiz tonight. Girona go first, an afternoon kick off at Atletico.
Primeira Liga
Sporting had a comfortable 4-0 win last night, meaning they are 7 points clear of Benfica after 28 games each. Porto's chances will be over if they fail to beat Famalicao this evening.
The Masters
Day 3 starts with DeChambeau, Homa and Scheffler all on 6 under. Hojgaard is the best European at 4 under, while British hopes may lay on Fleetwood and Willett (both 1 under).
Missing the cut were the likes of Rose, Spieth, Schwartzel, and both Dustin and Zach Johnson.
The Grand National
Willy Mullins trained horse, I Am Maximus, is the current favourite with Corach Rambler and Limerick Lace also being backed.
JA posters might be attracted by Kittys Light in what is a reduced field as they try and make the race safer.
Other sports are available, with the IPL continuing today with Punjab Kings playing Rajasthan Royals and county cricket in the early stages of the second round of games. The Darts European 3rd tour event continues, NBA action all weekend, a bit of Major League Baseball, some Rugby, Aussie rules etc.
Good luck to anyone having a bet and good luck to the anti-National moaners.
Weekend shenanigans...

Spurs have conceded 2 or more in half their games this season. That is pretty awful for a team chasing top 4.

Feels like someone like Millwall or QPR will fall into it after never really being in the thick of it. My money would be on Birmingham and Huddersfield though.

Dartford are relegated
From consistently being close to automatic promotion and play-off misery to this. What a disastrous season.

Now that the 3pms are done I'm gonna say Blackburn are not quite safe yet!

Top 3 in Championship have one win since April Fools Day between them (9 matches).
