Has finally hit Salah. I am one of his biggest defenders but he is no longer a PL level wide forward. That pace has gone. I was okay as long as he was getting numbers but he has been no where near the level we expect.
This is why I always wanted a backup to Salah but we didn't think it was going to be a problem.
Huge decisions needs to be made in summer. Very much doubt team Edwards will offer a new deal and with 1 year left the Saudi money is now or never. Mo has said that he wants to play in the CL one more time but we need to start looking at wide right forwards.

He's not done IMO, but I don't think he should be an automatic starter anymore, he's just not good enough to be undroppable/be the first player on the teamsheet.

That massive Saudi wedge, would definitely set the new man up (probably Amorim), to bring in some players.
Needs to be done early in the summer. Time waits for no man.

Judging by the new set up with Edwards and Hughes,it looks very much like Salah will go to bring in funds for the new manager. As a club we are quite well placed to do this with a strong youth team and senior players who have a good few years at the top level.

Salah is and has been done but peoepl are wedded to his goals and the concept that past perofrmance is a sure indicator of future perofrmance.
The man has lost every yard of pace he had. But peeopl are a bit unfair as he's only back form injury and has to have time.
Our problem is you can just add them all up.

you cannot cover that amount of players then go to the well time and time again trying to scrape wins out of bad positions.
we are tired. end of.
If we are talking next year then yes salah should be gone for as much as possible and we should be looking to a new fresher outlook.
