Same script, different day...

Architects of our own downfall for the past Garden Gate Wembley occasions, dating back to 2017. Different squads. Different forwards. Varied levels of experience. Close-run matches.

You've obviously seen more of Jackson than I have, only watched him about 7,8 games but I do feel he had a few issues?

Could iron them out and get better but today he was kinda poor?

Still wouldn't trade jackson for any other striker though right?

I feel bad in saying it, but him and Mudryk are not yet at Premier League level. And the money spunked on Caicedo, that's not his fault though, it's Liverpools 😆

I thought that was Labia

The game was like our season condensed into 90 minutes. Played well, missed plenty of chances, poor officiating only to conceding one of the few chances we faced , resulting in a loss.

It was both of them. We made Chelsea spunk 180m up the wall.

It's just like a broken record. We are naive passing out from the back, but we have a very good attacking shape. How many big chances has Jackson missed this season? I don't understand why we persist with him, he's just not a striker at the moment. I can't believe that in that squad or in the youth teams, there is not a better finisher.

Anyone describing the CF shift that Jackson put in as a bad job or any other words to that effect. Have a very poor grasp on the role of a lone CF.
Just give up on football and watch another sport, if that's your view.

It is funny seeing the unconditional (vomit-inducing) support that the likes of decidely basketcases Werner and Torres got over the years, but God forbid that ever extends to Jackson who has already proved to be significantly better at a younger age in his Chelsea career.

There's no doubt that Jackson puts in a shift. The man tries, but the principal job of a 9 is to score. All the "good" work is for nothing if we don't score. He's just not good enough, and as a winger, technically he's weak. The lad tries but if he's not good enough then we are hamstrung.
