Chelsea fans lambasting Jackson for loss. But I think Ortega is quite good in man to man and has excellent positional awareness. Chelsea definitely a good side that needs time to gel. Erratic team overhauls has affected them over the last 3 seasons.

Ortega may be as described, but Chelsea fans have had a season of Jackson missing chance after chance. Even when he scored a hat trick against Spurs it was more luck than judgement and he should have had 10

VAR isnt though...they were a disgrace

Jackson was awful to be fair. Chelsea were the better team, played the better football until the final third and had the best chances by far.
Also they should have had a penalty. Grealish clearly brings his arm towards the ball as it was due to pass him towards the goal.

Jackson looks like the type of player that will be raw his whole career. Good enough for a mid table team but I don't think Chelsea are happy with that.

Yeah…no. Was var and mostly Jackson. Amongst other chances (caicedo, madueke etc)

I think the referee needs to give that one as VAR will claim not a clear and obvious error.

Early days but he does give off a touch of those Lingard vibes. I definitely could see him in his late 20's with fans saying "he's young, can still develop"

I struggle to buy the raw argument for a striker. These guys have played football their whole life and if they don't have the natural instinct to put the ball in the net by now, then they never will.
Yes learning timing of runs, learning clever movement, learning how to play with your teammates, learning how to play agst certain types of defenders, i get all that....but still learning how to put the ball in the net, nah feck that, you either have it or you don't and Jackson don't have it.

You'll need to explain that as it was very clear and very obvious
