Wise idea. Long overdue.
Got to question the wisdom of prolonging starts in the side, and completing matches...running him into the ground, playing through the pain barrier with his type of issue.

Not what I've read. Most reputable sources are saying that the hierarchy are aware that he's been working under difficult circumstances this year and deserves another shot next year.
The only doubt is the dearth of top quality managers available at the moment. The Chelsea owners are probably looking at Liverpool taking Slot and West Ham potentially taking Amorim and wondering who else there might be on the market should they need to turn to someone else. That panic can make you do crazy things. Listen, we know as Spurs fans how good Poch can be so I think it would be the wrong decision to get rid but you never know what will happen. Boehly has the gun and he's panicking. Not a good mix.
Anyway, aren't Chelsea stuck with Poch until at least July because of the financial situation?

He’s a £40m player we paid over £100m for. He’s had a very disappointing season.

For the money paid he should be bossing midfields…..like rice at arsenal
Don’t not get me wrong he is a neat and tidy footballer but way over priced which isn’t his fault so people will judge him compared to the price paid
Not sure what his stand out qualities are yet to command such a fee
